The modern Club Nautilus apartments are situated within well-kept landscaped gardens overlooking the golden shores of Praia Grande. Set on one level, these apartments all enjoy a large terrace of balcony with sea views an plenty of sunshine.

Ground Floor

The front door opens to an entrance hallway in this light and airy apartment. Continuing through to the open-plan living/dining room is a corridor, off of which you will find the modern kitchen.

The cool and calm sitting area has two loft sofas and a coffee table by an attractive open fireplace. Large sliding patio doors open on to the terrace, inviting in the sea breeze. There is a large wooden dining table and six chairs, as well as satellite TV and a CD stereo.

The kitchen overlooks the dining area through a large serving hatch, which also fills the kitchen with natural light. It is decorated with fresh white tiles from floor to ceiling and has a range of wooden units topped with a granite worktop. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine.

A corridor leads to the three bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with twin beds, bedside cabinets with small reading lamps and fitted wardrobes. A door leads to the en-suite shower room, decorated with colourful tiles and containing a shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin. Sliding patio doors open onto the terrace where you can laze in the warm sun.

The further two bedrooms are also furnished with twin beds, bedside cabinets with small reading lamps and fitted wardrobes. One has sliding doors on to the terrace, here you can savour a cup of coffee in the morning sun and watch the world go by.

Outside

Doors open from the living room and two bedrooms onto a large terrace (or balcony, depending on apartment level) where there are sunloungers and garden table and chairs. Overlooking the resort's landscaped gardens, the terrace has lovely sea views of the blue Atlantic Ocean. Here you can relax in the shade and enjoy a long, lazy lunch, watching the white waves roll across the shore.

A supplement is calculated and payable locally for electricity during the winter months (November to end of March) at a rate of E0.20 per kilowatt of useage.

Location

Club Nautilus is a collection of apartments set within gated, landscaped gardens. The resort has is a helpful reception, parking, security and two communal swimming pools. It is also located right next to the long stretches of fine, golden sand at Praia Grande.

About 5-10 minutes walk brings you to the charming fishing town of Armacao de Pera. (approx 500m away). It has is a sandy stretch of beach ideal for long walks across the wave-lapped shores. The beachfront does have several high-rise apartments, the upside of which is the vast array of cafes, shops and restaurants to serve all your needs. As well as lively nightlife.

There is a direct access to the beautiful Praia Grande beach from the Club Nautilus garden, so it is only about 100m away. Here you will find several beachside retaurants and cafes. Next to this is the beach of Angrinha, separated from Praia Grande by the Fort of Sao Jaoa de Arade, one the great defence for the Arade estuary but now a private home. Angrinha has facilities for water sports such as windsurfing and canoeing.

Carvoeiro, 8km away has Carvoeiro, was once a quiet fishing village but has steadily grown throughout the years to incorporate the flourishing tourist trade. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. A stroll around the older streets of the town will take you to quaint shops selling local crafts and market stalls selling fresh local goods. The small sandy beach has water sports on offer in summer Although now a bustling place in high season, the essence of the sleepy village still remains in the local fisherman who sail the seas and bring home their catches, sorting them in the harbour.
