Location
The centre of Lagos is just a few minutes stroll, and is a beautiful historic town which offers holiday diversions for all ages. The old town has charming cobbled streets, and the marina is a stylish cosmopolitan area at the other end of town, known for its fine fish restaurants.
Lagos is the third largest town in the Algarve, and was its capital between 1576 and 1756. It has plenty of gorgeous, sandy beaches and a fabulous new marine welcoming yachts and boats sailing in from the Atlantic. South of the town is the beautiful Ponte da Piedade, a natural rock formation hollowed out by the sea to produce oddly shaped cliffs and huge jutting rocks standing alone in the sea. An alternative way to view this stunning natural sight is to take a boat around the area to discover the maze of hidden caves and hollow amongst the cliffs. There’s also plenty of history and culture to discover amongst the town; with churches, 17th century forts and old defences. Yet, Lagos is also a modern town with plenty of restaurants, markets, shops and a buzzing nightlife in its bars and clubs.

The living space of Apartment Alexandra is a bright space with whitewashed walls has comfortable seating for four people in front of patio doors which open onto a terrace equipped with outdoor dining furniture and framed with pretty flowering plants. There is a television in this room for your entertainment, and a rectangular dining table and four chairs. The open plan kitchen area has a microwave, fridge and cooking rings.
An archway leads through to the apartment’s bedrooms: a double room and a twin room. The double room has a charming iron-word bed, and the twin has dark wood single beds. Both have ample storage for your holiday belongings, and both share the separate bathroom.
Outside
There are some communal facilities available on the complex, including a lovely communal swimming pool with a separate children’s pool. The pool area is set in lawned gardens, and a tennis court is available for guests (a local charge is applicable). The pool area has breathtaking views of the coastline and the Atlantic ocean, and a footpath leads down to the beach below, which offers a choice of beach restaurants. Cliff-top walks are popular with holiday guests here, as are boating trips to one of the many grottoes along this stretch of coastline.
