Bela Vista is a two storey villa with split level accommodation on the ground floor. The main living accommodation, two bedrooms, a bathroom and guest cloakroom are on the ground floor, with a further two bedrooms upstairs.
Approach
The villa is approached via a gravelled driveway and has a cobbled parking area in front of the whitewashed wall around the entrance. There is a pedestrian gateway leading to the main door.
Ground Floor
The entrance hall has a striking tiled picture on the wall and is painted white with pale floor tiles underfoot, a theme which continues throughout the villa. The kitchen and living areas lead off from the hall. There is a step down through an archway to the spacious open plan living area which is divided into three parts. At one end, a large abstract painting of the ocean hangs above a wooden-framed sofa and there is a small square dining table with four chairs. The main sitting area has corner seating around a rug and coffee table in the centre, with further easy chairs by the television and DVD player. There is a large brick fireplace in the corner and patio doors to a covered dining terrace overlooking the pool. The formal dining area is furnished with a circular wooden dining table and has a large sideboard with a mirror above
There is a door from the dining area to the kitchen which is at the rear of the property. Fitted with dark wooden units, pale worktops and a breakfast bar, this room is well-equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, oven, gas hob and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is housed in an adjoining utility room.
The ground floor has two bedrooms, each benefiting from direct access to the walled terrace overlooking the pool. There is a spacious double bedroom decorated in white and lemon, with mirrored wardrobes and pine furniture. The second bedroom is well-furnished with matching twin beds and attractive cane furniture. Both rooms share a family bathroom and there is an additional guest cloakroom with WC and washbasin.
First Floor
Stairs from the hallway lead to a landing on the first floor. Double arched doors open to a very large twin bedroom which has a fireplace and a sitting area furnished with comfortable leather armchairs and a coffee table – perfect for relaxing with a good book or your early morning cup of tea. There are patio doors to the first floor terrace with scenic views over the surrounding area. The fourth bedroom is a double, also with patio doors to the terrace, and there is a further separate bathroom.
Outside
The gardens are mainly to the front of the villa which has pretty terraces on different levels linked by steps and bordered by whitewashed walls. Adjacent to the living room and downstairs bedrooms is a covered dining terrace with patio furniture which has steps leading down to the pool and an area of lawn with built-in seating. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m with a depth range of 1.1m to 1.38m and is surrounded by a walled terrace with ample space to sunbathe on the sun-loungers provided. Nearby Albufeira has grown from a small fishing village into a popular coastal resort whilst retaining much of its charm.
