Approach

Boa Vista has a quiet and peaceful setting within Quinta do Lago and overlooks the Pinheiros Altos golf course. This luxury villa with private pool is built on sloping ground and stands amidst lush, lawned gardens bordered by hedges, huge palms and umbrella pines. A steep cobbled driveway leads down to the villa’s front entrance.

Ground Floor

The ground floor is split level with steps between some rooms. Six steps leads down to a grand entrance hallway with a further two steps to a gallery overlooking the sitting room with fine views across the pool terrace and garden. A few steps down from here is a TV lounge with comfortable sofas and patio doors to the terrace. The villa is equipped with excellent entertainment systems including cable television, a DVD player and music centre. There is a log burning stove to keep things cosy in the cooler months. .

There is a separate formal dining area with seating for eight adjacent to the kitchen which is fitted with white units topped with dark granite and has modern appliances including a microwave, dishwasher and American fridge. The kitchen has a bright and airy breakfast room which opens to a secluded terrace.

Steps lead down to the four ground floor bedrooms. There is a twin room and a single bedroom with a desk, both with access to the pool terrace and sharing a brand new bathroom with a bath/overbath shower, WC, bidet and washbasin. There are two double bedrooms, one with a large en suite shower room and the other with a dressing room and en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and twin washbasins.

Upper Floor

Decorated in white, the lovely master bedroom is on an upper level and is beautifully furnished with a double bed with canopy, sitting and dressing areas, a luxurious full en suite bathroom and access to a private gated terrace to the front of the villa.

There is also a magnificent furnished roof terrace with a fridge to keep drinks cool and glorious panoramic views over the gardens and golf course.

Outside

The villa has lush, lawned gardens bordered by hedges and pines trees, with a large umbrella pine close to the house casting pleasant dappled shade across the lawn. The garden slopes down to a steep rockery so young children should always, of course, be well supervised.

The 10m x 5m, heatable pool is on a raised terrace bordered by railings on three sides with steps down to the main garden. There are furnished terraces on different levels and a large built-in brick barbecue for al fresco meals.

There is off-road parking at the front of the villa.
