There is a television with some satellite channels and also a DVD player. The room has cool tiled floors and white walls which are brightened by some pieces of modern art. A particular feature of this room is the full length sliding doors on both sides, offering superb views across open countryside to the Boquer Mountains and Formentor in the distance.

They share the use of a stylish shower room which has a WC and washbasin and a step up to a large shower area with frosted glass double doors. The master bedroom has a double bed and a door to the garden and pool area. This comfortable room also has a large contemporary bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, WC, washbasin and bidet.

Location
This charming villa with private pool is set in Majorcan countryside bordering a nature reserve just 5km from the beautiful Pollensa Bay. Midway between Pollensa Old Town and the coastal resort of Puerto Pollensa, the villa is ideally suited to those looking for a restful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The region has stunning mountain and coastal scenery and there are plenty of opportunities for walking and mountain biking, with boat excursions being an ideal way to view the dramatic rocky shoreline of the nearby Formentor peninsula.
Pollensa Old Town, is around 7km inland from the villa and is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. The town has narrow, cobbled street, pretty squares and ancient architecture and seems a world away from the more modern tourist areas. There is a weekly market here in the town square which takes place every Sunday morning and has a range of stalls selling handicrafts and fresh local produce.
The friendly resort of Puerto Pollensa, 8.5km in the other direction was originally a fishing village. The large horseshoe-shaped bay has sheltered waters and a gently shelving sandy beach with good facilities, making it a popular choice for families with young children. There is a prestigious sailing school here where you can book tuition and hire equipment, as well as a selection of other water sports on offer at the beach. You can also hire sunbeds, parasols and pedalos. Puerto Pollensa has a wide traffic free promenade which extends along the seafront from the marina, past shops, cafes and galleries before narrowing to the ‘Pine Walk’ skirting the bay. Take a stroll along here in the evening and you can stop off for a drink at one of the pavement cafes and watch a variety of street performers at work, from live singers to artists and sand sculptors.
For golfing enthusiasts, the 9-hole Pollensa Golf course is 10km near old Pollensa and has wonderful views over the Tramuntana mountains, olive groves and Pollensa bay. There are opportunities for tennis, sightseeing and horse-riding, not to mention hiking and mountain biking amidst beautiful coastal and mountain scenery.
Cala St Vincent is a quiet coastal area surrounded by mountains with pine-clad ground sloping gently to the sea. There are two coves to choose from where you will find sparkling shallow water which is great for families with young children. With convenient parking, a choice of restaurants and sun-loungers and parasols for hire, everything is laid on here for you to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. A further choice of beaches, both pebbled and sandy can be found if you take a drive around the Formentor Peninsula in the northern corner of the island.
If you are looking for a faster pace, the port city of Alcudia, at the southern end of Pollensa Bay is a lively resort with plenty of clubs and bars providing evening entertainment. It also has an excellent beach and a good selection of shops and restaurants. Children will enjoy a visit to the water park here and there are bar and discos if you are looking for a more lively nightlife. The old town area has the remains of a Roman amphitheatre and a beautifully preserved medieval wall and gate.
