Approach

The villa is situated in a leafy cul de sac behind electric entrance gates. The driveway is bordered with a hedge, pine trees and lavender and leads to the double entrance doors at the front of the property.

Ground Floor

The interior of this villa is light and spacious and furnished in a smart, contemporary style. The open-plan living area has tiled flooring and pale walls, with patio doors opening to the pool garden. Leather sofas are clustered around a low coffee table in front of the stylish wood-burning fire and the room is equipped with a surround sound music system, a television and a DVD player. The dining area has a dining table with seating for eight overlooking the pool.

The huge kitchen has pale wooden units topped with granite, with a central island and convenient breakfast bar. It has a range of appliances including an integral oven, ceramic hob, microwave, stainless steel fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine is housed in a separate utility room and there is a door to the rear garden.

The ground floor bedroom opens off the hallway and is furnished with twin beds and fitted wardrobes. It has an en suite shower room and patio doors to the garden.

First Floor

There are three further bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, all with individual colour schemes and smart new furnishings. There is one double bedroom overlooking the pool, with fitted wardrobes and an ultra-modern en suite bathroom. There are two further twin bedrooms, each with en suite shower rooms.

Air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms on request (supplement payable).

Ground Floor

The villa has electric entrance gates and a driveway with off-road parking. The pool is situated to the front of the villa and has a sun terrace bordered by a hedge for privacy where you can relax on the sun-loungers provided. There is also an open poolside shower which is convenient for use after swimming or on your return from the beach.

The attractive, enclosed garden is dotted with pines and lavender and has a lawned area to the rear. There is a covered terrace with dining furniture and also a built-in barbecue for cooking al fresco.

This luxury villa with pool is situated in the new development of Varandas do Lago, set amongst umbrella pines in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve just a short distance from the prestigious resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. Ancao, with its golden sandy beach and snack bar, is around a 20 - 25 minute walk from the villa, and there are shops, restaurants and nightclubs within easy reach. The nearest local town for essential amenities is Almancil, just a few minutes drive away, and the Ria Park Hotel and Spa is very close.

The area is a paradise for golfing enthusiasts with no less than six 18-hole courses in the area, the nearest being the Quinta do Lago North and South courses. Vale do Lobo has two famous courses, the Royal and Ocean, a few kilometres away. The 18-hole Ocean course has undulating fairways which lead down to the Atlantic along the edge of the nature reserve whereas the Royal Golf Course’s fairways are gently rolling and set amidst pine trees and lakes. Vale do Lobo also has a renowned tennis academy and horse-riding is available locally at the Pinetrees Riding Academy in Quinta do Lago.

Quinta do Lago has its own shopping centre, Quinta Shopping, with 10,000 sq metres of shops offering a wide range of products with top brand names. The area has plenty of restaurants catering for all tastes and some vibrant nightclubs where you can dance until the early hours. There are also large purpose built shopping centres at Faro and Guia.

Nearby family attractions include the ‘Aqua Show’ water park, a 15 minute drive away and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park at Guia near Albufeira, approximately 25km away. The inland town of Loulé, 20 minutes away by car, has a craft market every Saturday where the traditional, local craftsmen display their wares.
