This stylish villa was fully refurbished in 2008, has 2 bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms in the adjoining annexe. The roof top terrace offers fabulous views over open countryside with mountain landscape and sea views. The villa sleeps up to 8 people and comprises:

Comfortable and bright lounge area with corner sofa, Sky satellite TV (limited channels) and DVD player. Dining area with dining table and chairs leading to the open plan fully fitted kitchen with small breakfast bar, stainless steel fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, ceramic touch control hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, iron and ironing board and built-in washing machine;
Master bedroom with double bed, air conditioning / heating unit and en-suite marble bathroom with bath and overhead shower;

Positioned to the left of the main house, with a separate entrance, are a further 2 bedrooms, both with air conditioning / heating units, one with double bed and en-suite shower room; the other has twin beds and en-suite shower room.

All bathrooms have hairdryer and magnifying mirror.

The villa has a built in safe in each bedroom and an alarm system.

The villa is very private, with mature gardens and both covered and open terraces. The children´s pool forms part of the main pool to the front of the villa. The built in BBQ, with outside seating area, is situated to the rear of the villa together with the 4 seat jacuzzi.
The main swimming pool is set in mature gardens to the front of the villa with open and shady terraces, patio furniture and sun loungers and can be illuminated at night.
There is gated off road parking.

Casa Anthea is in a quiet residential area of the old town of Puerto del Carmen, approximately 10 minutes gentle stroll from the Old Town square of the resort. The square is surrounded by a number of excellent restaurants some of which enjoy pretty views of the harbour with its traditional fishing boats. The evening brings the resort to life and the ambience of the music bars drifts out into the night air. To visit the local beaches, the sandy cove of the old town is just a short stroll, or the long sandy beaches of the New Town are the place to find the lively water sports and beach life that you would expect from a well established resort.

The award-winning Playa Grande beach is sandy and gently sloping making it popular with families. You can hire parasols and sun-loungers here, or explore some of the other rocky coves which are dotted around the coastline if you would prefer something more private. There are several windsurfing and diving schools in Puerto del Carmen offering equipment hire and lessons, as the coastline offers the perfect conditions for both these sports. Swimming, running and cycling are also popular in resort, with several bike hire companies along the promenade.

The resort offers plenty of opportunities for retail therapy and has a range of excellent shops. Souvenir shops line the Avenida or you can browse an array of local crafts and up-market luxury good at the Biosfera shopping centre.
Also nearby is the incredible National Park of Timanfya, a 50km square area whose landscape has been shaped by past volcanic activity on the island, the most recent eruption being nearly two centuries ago. Various tours are offered in the park, including a camel ride if you are feeling adventurous, and you can enjoy a meal cooked over natural geothermal heat at the El Diablo restaurant.
