Casa Bregat is a new villa where modern, contemporary furnishings complement the traditional farmhouse design.

The comfortable living/dining area has comfortable linear furniture gathered around the room’s television which has some satellite channels. Pale walls hung with modern art work complement the pale tiled floors and doors open out directly onto the pool terrace. Conveniently located adjoining the lounge/diner is the villa’s kitchen. A modern room with contemporary dark units, it is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. It also houses a dark wood table and six chairs.

Also on this level are the villa’s four bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms which have their own en-suite bathrooms equipped with a bath, wc and wash basin. The two remaining bedrooms have twin beds, and are equipped with en-suite shower rooms.

Outside

The gardens of Casa Bregat are a delightful place for you to spend time on your villa holiday in Mallorca. A rectangular private pool is set into pale tiled terraces which have ample sun loungers and parasols for your party. There is an area of lawn in the dappled shade of palm trees, and close by is a covered terrace for you to take refuge from the midday summer sun. The villa has its own barbecue which is perfect for taking advantage of the outdoor dining set and eating home-grilled food, cooked outside on a balmy summer evening.

Location

Casa Bregat enjoys a lovely location in the rolling greenery of the Pollensa countryside in the north east corner of the island. With the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains, the villa is only a short drive to the local town of Pollensa (4km). Originally Roman, the town is a maze of narrow cobbled streets which lead to the central square of Placa Major. Here you will find the area’s best market on a Sunday morning at the foot of the Calvari Church steps. A lovely place to sample some good quality locally produced food including fruit, vegetables, olives and cheese. The streets here have inviting shops and tempting cafes to while away your time, as well as a number of good quality restaurants.

A little further a-field is the popular coastal resort of Puerto Pollensa (5km) where you can find Mallorcan beach life at its finest. There is a large horseshoe bay here with fine white sand gently shelving into a calm blue sea, making it popular with families with children as well as holidaymakers of all ages. There are a number of water sports to choose from including water skiing or parasailing, and if you prefer to stay dry on the water, there are a number of boat trips on offer up and down the coastline – a particular favourite is the one taking in the spectacular Formentor Peninsular. The resort is well served with restaurants and shops and has a lovely promenade ‘Pine Walk’ which is a favourite for strolling in the evenings, or stopping at one of the many pavement cafes to watch the world go by.

A little further down the coast is Alcudia, another Roman town with a partially preserved Medieval wall. Narrow streets will take you to a bygone era here, and if you prefer something a little livelier – or perhaps a visit to a disco – then Port d’Alcudia is another beach resort with plenty to offer. Restaurants and bars are plentiful and good, and there is a lovely wide sandy beach here with many facilities for you to enjoy on your villa holiday.
