Casa dos Lombos is a two storey villa where the living accommodation and two bedrooms are on the ground floor and the master bedroom is on the first floor.

Ground Floor

The tastefully furnished living area of Casa dos Lombros has comfortable leather sofas grouped around the room’s open fireplace which is set in a tapered white chimney breast. There is a large unit which houses a state-of-the-art DVD and Flatscreen television combo. Patio doors keep the room light and airy, and lead out onto the terrace. A step up leads to the separate dining area, which has a metalwork dining table and chairs to seat six people. The villa’s kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a corner bench and table to sit at whilst you eat breakfast, and there is a further television in the kitchen.

Also on this level are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both sharing a fully equipped bathroom.

First Floor

At the top of the stairwell, which leads up to the villa's first floor, is the master bedroom and a separate door which leads out onto the sun terrace.

Outside

The delightful grounds of Casa dos Lombos are a carefully landscaped area with lush green lawn and leafy palm trees. The kidney shaped private pool with integral steps is set in paved terraces with sun loungers and parasols, and the pool is dappled with shade from the large feature palm tree. There is an outdoor covered dining area adjacent to the pool which houses the villa’s built-in barbecue as well as a summer kitchen with outdoor sink. There is ample outdoor dining furniture for you to enjoy a meal outdoors in the warmth of the summer days.

The villa has air conditioning in the living area included. Maid service is included 3 days per week. Cot and highchair available on request.

Location

Casa dos Lombos is approximately 3.5km inland from the beautiful Albandeira and Marinha beaches on the pretty western coastline of the Algarve. Carvoeiro is only a short drive away, and has all facilities you would expect from a popular coastal holiday resort. Originally a small fishing village, the resort has grown into a flourishing holiday destination yet still manages to retain its traditional feel. Local fishermen still moor their colourful boats along the beach here and freshly caught fish is available in the many fine fish restaurants of the town. For those who prefer something a little more international, the resort is well serviced for choice, and there are plenty of bars and cafes. Shops cater to the tourist trade and there are several supermarkets. Take a tour of the back streets and you will find boutique shops selling local fare and traditional handicrafts.

The beach here is a popular sandy bay sheltered by cliffs and offers several water sports. Other pretty local beaches include Centiannes and Benagil, and the villa is especially close to Marinha and Albandeira.

Carvoeiro also has two golf clubs and a tennis club. Children enjoy going to the popular local water parks.
