Ground Floor

Casa Naomi is a comfortable family villa set in the heart of the Mallorcan countryside. Most of the living and sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor. The bright and comfortable living/dining area is furnished with comfortable sofas gathered around a coffee table and has a television which has some satellite channels. The living accommodation gives the villa a traditional air, with its wooden beamed ceilings sloping overhead and pale tiled floors. There is dining table with chairs to seat six people, which is conveniently located just next to the galley kitchen, and open plan stairs lead from the dining area up to the loft on the first floor. The living/dining area has air conditioning available to keep you cool.

The kitchen is modern and fully fitted. It comes equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, hob/oven and fridge/freezer and has an exterior door which leads directly out onto the pool terrace – perfect for daytime access to cool drinks in the fridge.

Also on this level are the villa’s three bedrooms. The master double has a dark wooden bed and its own en-suite bathroom which has a bath, wc and wash basin. There are two further bedrooms which both have twin beds, and these share the separate shower room. There is also a guest cloakroom for your convenience.

First Floor

Open plan wooden stairs lead from the dining area up to the loft space, where you will find a sofa bed. This gives you the option of extra sleeping space, or is a pleasant hideaway for teenage children hoping for a little privacy.

Outside

A door from the kitchen leads directly out onto the covered terrace where you will find outdoor dining furniture. This area offers cool shade from the midday sun and is a lovely place to take advantage of the villa’s barbecue and dine outside on the warm summer evenings. The villa’s raised private pool is rectangular in shape and has integral steps leading gently into the water. A lovely feature of the pool for families is the separate paddling area which is ideal for cooling off toddlers! Sun loungers and parasols are provided for you to enjoy a little sunbathing. The garden itself has numerous carob and fruit trees as well as a number of shrubs, flowering plants and other trees. From the garden the Mallorcan countryside spreads out in a pastoral vista in front of you, and completes the tranquil and comfortable picture of Casa Naomi.

Location

Casa Naomi is located in one of the most pleasant areas of Mallorca countryside. At the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, the villa is conveniently situated between the old town of Pollensa and the popular coastal resort of Puerto Pollensa with its beautiful beach.
Pollensa is an old Roman town which is a short drive from the villa (4km). Here you will find your local shops, restaurants and bars set in a pretty traditional Mallorcan town. Take a stroll along winding narrow streets, pause for a drink at a pavement cafe or visit the delightful central square on a Sunday morning to see one of the best markets in the area – perhaps sample some locally produced fresh fruit, olives or cheese.

Puerto Pollensa is only 8km away and is the place where you can sample some of the fine beach life that Mallorca has on offer. You will find a wide sweeping horseshoe bay with fine white sand which gently shelves into the water. This beach is popular with families because of its calm shallow sea, but holidaymakers of all ages come for the good facilities and selection of water sports – wind surfing, parasailing, jet skiing are some of the ones on offer. If you fancy a little tour of some of the beautiful coastline, there is a lovely boat trip available up the coast to the Formentor Peninsular. In the resort you will also find a fine mixture of good quality restaurants, shops and bars. A popular place for people to spend the evening is ‘Pine Walk’ a wide promenade in the shade of leafy trees, lined with cafes. Nightlife here tends to be low key, but if you are looking for a disco, there are a couple in neighbouring Port d’Alcudia (9km)

Alcudia is another Roman town within easy distance (7km). For those who enjoy a little history, there is a Roman house here to visit, as well as a partially preserved Medieval wall, and what is left of a Roman amphitheatre to the south of town. Another maze of winding narrow streets with tempting boutiques and little restaurants, Alcudia is a pleasant place to visit.

For those who enjoy playing a little golf, Pollensa Golf is only 6km away.
