Casa Tilias is located in a peaceful residencia just 5km from the lively resort of Albufeira. The villa is just 2km from Gale Beach, a beautiful expanse of sand that stretches for miles between picturesque cliffs. A mini-market and restaurant are both within convenient walking distance. Just a short drive brings you to Albufeira, where you'll find an accessible sandy beach and wide selection of restaurants and bars.
Casa Tilias is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Albuferia coastline, with its fourteen sandy beaches and coves. The nearest is Gale beach, which has a wide variety of tourist facilities and snack bars. In the direction of Albufeira are two smaller beaches that are quieter and less visited. Castelo Beach and Sao Rafael are picturesque coves protected by stunning rock formations of great natural beauty.
Once a traditional fishing village, Albufeira is now a sprawling town with plenty to see and something to suit everyone. During the day you can enjoy the sandy stretches of beach or browse the markets where local handicrafts and fresh goods are sold. In the evening, a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs fill the streets with people and life; locals sit on the terraces of traditional restaurants, the bars fill up with thirsty punters and all kinds of music drift across the air. You can admire the array of white yachts in the newly completed marina in the west. Alternatively, you could stroll around the Old Town and explore the maze of cobbled streets, past white-washed fishermen's houses.
Many of the beaches have water sports on offer throughout the summer, and there are plenty of golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding facilities found all around the Algarve. The nearest golf course to the villa is Balaia Golf Course, a 9-hole course 8km away.
Nearby attractions for those with children include;
. ZooMarine- an ocean theme park set amongst lakes and gardens with exhibitions, shows and rides to entertain the whole family. Has a large range of marine animals from sea lions and dolphins to turtles and exotic birds. About 3km away in neighbouring Guia.
. Slide and Splash - a huge water park with pools, Jacuzzis, slides and rapids that can keep the whole family amused for a day. There are plenty of grassy areas for relaxing and picnicking and because the grounds are so large, it doesn't get too crowded. Located north of the town on the N125

Very peaceful place, couple of good bars and restaurants within walking distance
That there is no worries and the Villas are always great with super and friendly service, and you are well looked after

The peace abd quiet is great but there are shops and restaurants near by. Also the zoo marina is quite near and well worth a visit
Excellent beaches and some good attractions for the children, especially Zoomarine. Close to the airport for hassle free transfers.

Quiet area, however a short drive to Albufeira or Montechorro for a more lively evening if you want it.
We love the indepence that a villa holiday gives you, it is just like home from home
We've booked twice with villastogo, both times we have found the service 1st class. We had a couple of issues while we were in the villa which the portugese rep handled quickly and efficiently.
It's a quiet area and car hire is a must!, don't be told otherwise. If you book a villa in this area don't expect neon lights and kareoke. There's bars around but it's lovely to chill out and relax.
That it is very enjoyable.

Casa Tilias is a truly amazing villa. The pool and tennis court were perfect and the local restaurants are superb all within an easy walk. just a brilliant holiday.
The area around Casa Tilias is great. there are is a wide selction of restaurants with great food and a good price. There are not really any Bars, but with the restaurants being so comfortable and good service, you can realx over dinner. The beaches are lovley and very clean, but can be quiet popular in the high season. overall i think this area is definitely at the top in the algarve for a good relaxing holding with good food and wine.

people are very friendly and helpful,few local restaurants in walking distant. the bar/karaoke was good fun.local shops which was usefull.overall nice and peaceful area for a care free holiday

Nice quiet area some very ggod restaurants within walking distance. Cohela beach very ggod. You do really need a car to stay in this area.
Villa excellent totally met and exceeded our expectations. Pick up to and from airport also excellent. All in all excellent accommodation and service wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
For our party the location was perfect, peace and quiet if you need it, local bars close by, but not too many. Nightlight a short taxi ride away.

customer service excellent from making the initial booking and then subsequently adding another person to the booking. also we were able to leave our bags in the villa on the last day as there were no clients arriving and we were able to use the outside shower, much appreciated. kate sorted this for us.
