The villa is ideally located only 500m from the wonderful marina of Puerto Calero, which has an array of luxury yachts. The marina is surrounded by restaurants and stylish boutiques and up market tourist shops.

Puerto Calero hugs the south-west coast of Lanzarote, 3km south of Puerto del Carmen and only 20 minutes’ drive from Arrecife airport. It is an exclusive resort of high class hotels and prestigious villas. Casa Tomasa is very close to the Hotel Iberostar, with its fine bars and restaurants.

The marina offers several excursions including catamaran trips, submarine rides and sport-fishing where you can experience the thrill of landing a Blue-Fin Tuna or maybe even catch a shark! For those who prefer to be in the water rather than on it, there are a couple of diving schools offering instruction and equipment for both beginners and the more advanced.

Although there is no beach at Puerto Calero, the famous white Papagayo beaches are just along the shoreline and neighbouring Puerto del Carmen is a hive of beach activity with a wide selection of water sports.

Approach

Casa Tomasa is approached through electronic gates which shield the villa’s garage and driveway where there is ample parking.

Ground Floor

Casa Tomasa is a single storey villa where all the accommodation is laid out on one level. The spacious living/dining area of the villa is a comfortable space with two large sofas gathered around a coffee table and facing the room’s television, which has some satellite channels, along with a DVD player and CD player. The room is kept light an airy by large patio doors which look out over the pool area and the pale walls and terracotta tiled floors give the villa a traditional feel. Through a large arch is the dining area, which has an oval wooden table and seating for six people in front of a sideboard.

The farmhouse style kitchen is large and spacious, with enough room for a breakfast table with six chairs. Fully fitted with wooden units, the kitchen comes fully equipped with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen conveniently opens out onto the barbecue area. The washing machine can be found in a separate washing and drying area. There is a guest cloakroom with a wash basin and wc within easy reach of the living area.

The villa has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, a walk-in wardrobe and an en suite bathroom which has a large round Jacuzzi bath and a separate shower unit. There are three twin rooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom. The en suite bathroom has a bath and a shower, as does the separate bathroom which the remaining bedrooms share.

Outside

The oval pool is 9m x 4m x 1.45-1.85 deep with ladder access and is surrounded by tiled patio terraces which have plenty of space to sunbathe on the loungers provided. For those who prefer the cool of the shade, there are parasols. The villa comes equipped with a barbecue for outdoor grilling, and the villa has outdoor dining furniture for your party to relax and enjoy eating outside in the warm summer evenings.
