Villa Colina enjoys a fantastic location only 600m from Coelho beach, just 3km from the lively resort of Albufeira. Coelho beach is a pretty beach tucked between colourful cliffs, with a nearby restaurant serving simple meals. Just 250m from the villa is another restaurant, as well as a mini-market a little further on. With the amenities so near by, you can pop out for a meal or loaf of fresh bread. And best of all, you can easily stroll down to the beach anytime you feel like it.
The Coelho area is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Albuferia coastline, with its fourteen sandy beaches and coves. The nearest is Galé beach, which has a wide variety of tourist facilities and snack bars. Salgados Golf actually backs onto the sand dunes at Galé, and offers 18 holes set amongst picturesque fairways with plenty of water hazards. In the direction of Albufeira are two smaller beaches that are quieter and less visited. Castelo Beach and São Rafael are picturesque coves protected by stunning rock formations of great natural beauty.
Once a traditional fishing village, Albufeira is now a sprawling town with plenty to see and something to suit everyone. During the day you can enjoy the sandy stretches of beach or browse the markets where local handicrafts and fresh goods are sold. In the evening, a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs fill the streets with people and life; locals sit on the terraces of traditional restaurants, the bars fill up with thirsty punters and all kinds of music drift across the air. You can admire the array of white yachts in the newly completed marina in the west. Alternatively, you could stroll around the Old Town and explore the maze of cobbled streets, past white-washed fishermen’s houses.
Nearby attractions for those with children include;
• ZooMarine- an ocean theme park set amongst lakes and gardens with exhibitions, shows and rides to entertain the whole family. Has a large range of marine animals from sea lions and dolphins to turtles and exotic birds. About 3km away in neighbouring Guia.
• Slide and Splash – a huge water park with pools, Jacuzzis, slides and rapids that can keep the whole family amused for a day. There are plenty of grassy areas for relaxing and picnicking and because the grounds are so large, it doesn’t get too crowded. Located north of the town on the N125

the villa was very good clean ,had everything you needed and more ,pool was brilliant and cleaned twice in one week.
This villa was lovely, very spacious and well equiped. It has everything you could need, fab pool with loungers, the balconies are also well positioned.
The local beach is closeby, small and tasteful,but with little shade, there is a restaurant serving meals and snacks. Gale beach is larger but more commercial, with boats to hire etc. Great waves!
The villas are clean, spacious and stylish. They are well equipped with everything you may need and are suitable for families. Security at the villa was also excellent. The pool was also very clean and our two water babies absolutely loved it.
Quiet location and therefore suitable for families especially those with young children. Restaurants are good but are a bit pricey compared to those in the Old Town. Rabbit beach is only a short walk from the villa and is nice and secluded with an excellent beach bar. Food at the beach bar was excellent especially the fresh fish. We would also recommend the orange cake.

The Praia Coelha is a great beach,in close proximity, safe for swimming, reasonable little restuarant on beach and close to Cliff top walks
Very quite area, great for people with small families if that wanted to escape from busy areas

The beach was lovely - bit of a way from Albufeira but nice and quiet and lovely views from the villa

Very nice villa, well equiped with everything you'll need. Very spacious, lovely rooms. Modern and clean bathrooms with rainshowers. Pool is great and gets cleaned twice a week. Two barbecues which we used very often. The sea is a little downhill walk away.
