The Corallia hotel consists of many one-bedroom and studio apartments in a fantastic location; right on the edge of Coral Bay. The sands of Coral Bay are considered by some to be the best on the island, and as a guest of Corallia; you have access to a private stretch of these golden shores. Coral Bay is only 12km north of the historic town of Paphos, and a bus stop in front of the hotel runs buses into the town every 15-20 minutes.

The hotel provides three lifts with access to all floors (including the ground floor). The reception is open 24-hours a day and there are public telephones and money exchange facilities. Other facilities include postage, laundry facilities, photo-copying, a doctor, dentist and nurse on call, baby-sitting, and taxi services upon request.

For dining and drinking, Corallia offers a cocktail bar, poolside bar and a spacious restaurant with a large terrace and a weekly Greek (Cypriot) night with dancing and live music. There is a small mini-market on site selling basic essentials but large supermarkets are just a little way further afield.

Leisure facilities include use of the large outdoor swimming pool, children’s shallow pool and playground. As well as the gym, sauna, tennis court, and games room with pool and table-tennis tables.

Paphos (or Pathos) is 12km away, along roads that wind past leafy banana plantations and vinewayrds. The town features a unique combination of tradition and modernity. It’s beautiful historical ruins and mysterious underground vaults make the whole town a veritable musuem - so much so that UNESCO added the whole town to its World Cultural Heritage List. However the town also has a large selection of modern and cosmopolitan bars, cafes and restaurants. As well as stylish late night clubs, an aquarium and a go-kart track.
The picturesque fishing harbour offers the chance to stroll along the quayside watching the colourful fishing boats bob in the water. You can sit with a cool drink at the harbour-side cafes and restaurants, and watch the hub of activity as boats set sail out across the blue Mediterranean sea.
Another great attraction is the castle; which is in fact all that remains of a much earlier castle dating from 1391, used by the Ottomans as dungeons and by the British as a warehouse for salt. You can reach the castle via a small bridge over a moat and is worth a visit if only for the view from the top. Opening hours in summer are 9am to 6pm daily and in winter 9am to 5pm.

Approach

The apartments of Corallia Beach Hotel gaze out over the shimmering Mediterranean Sea and golden sands of Coral Bay beach. This large hotel complex contains apartments on four levels, and set in well-maintained gardens full of green lawns and red-flowering shrubs. As well as a great location, the hotel offers lots of facilities and amenities including communal pools, a mini-market and restaurant. Paths wind around the white-washed building and lifts connect the floors.

Ground Floor

The light and bright Corallia Beach apartments are simply decorated with white walls, tiled floors and wooden furniture. The front door opens into the spacious living space. There are two wooden-framed sofas facing each other along opposite walls, and in the corner is a small cabinet with satellite TV. Patio doors open onto the private balcony; inviting in the sea breeze and filling the room with natural light. There is a dining table and four chairs, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The tiled kitchen has wooden units and a solid worktop with integral sink and hob. As well as an oven with grill and hob, the kitchen has a fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster.
A door leads through to the bedroom which is furnished with twin beds, bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers. Patio doors open onto the private balcony; a great spot to sit in the cool morning sun and savour that first cup of coffee.
Another door opens into the separate bathroom which is tiled from floor to ceiling and has a shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.

Outside

The private balcony gazes out over the blue shimmering sea, and there are tables and chairs; a great setting for a long lazy lunch. Why not relax here with a glass of wine in the evening, as the sky turns pink with the setting sun.
The gardens in front of the hotel are centered around the large communal pool which has integral steps, a central island and an inset children’s paddling pool. Lawns stretch out in front of this and there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols for lazing in the warm sun.
