Laranjeiras is a two-storey semi-detached villa with its own garden and swimming pool. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two further bedrooms upstairs.

Ground Floor

The villa’s open plan living area has two modern sofas and a matching armchair surrounding a glass-topped coffee table. There is a television with some satellite channels and a DVD player and also a large corner fireplace and patio doors opening to the garden. The room tapers to a formal dining area which is set with a dining table with seating for up to eight people in front of a large wooden dresser. There is another set of patio doors at this end making the room light and airy.

The spacious kitchen has pine units and a breakfast table and chairs. It is well-equipped with a dishwasher and microwave as well as a hob, oven and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is located in a separate laundry room.

Also on this floor is a bright and spacious twin bedroom which has fitted wardrobes and bedside tables and lamps. There is a separate bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, WC, washbasin and bidet.

First Floor

Stairs lead to a galleried landing. A well-furnished double room and a narrow twin bedroom share the use of a family bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower, WC, washbasin and bidet. The master bedroom has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe and a full en suite bathroom.

Outside

The villa sits within a private walled garden with a good-sized area of lawn and a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a paved sun terrace. Pool furniture is provided including tables, chairs, sun-loungers and an umbrella. Adjacent to the house is an area shaded by the overhanging roof which is ideal for enjoying an al fresco lunch out of the midday sun. There is also a built-in barbecue and an open poolside shower.

Maid service is provided three times a week, with a midweek towel change and weekly linen change.

Location

Laranjeiras is situated in the peaceful residential area of Branqueira within the popular Algarve resort of Olhos d’Agua. This lovely holiday villa has a bar and mini-market within walking distance, and is only a short drive from the resort’s main restaurants, shops and beaches. A former fishing village, Olhos d’Agua is quieter than some others in the area and retains plenty of old fashioned charm, with local fishermen still bringing their boats into the town’s harbour and mending their nets on the beach. There is a gently sloping sandy beach which is ideal for children and plenty to do here whether you enjoy eating out in one of the resort’s restaurants or prefer to take a picnic on a boat excursion from the harbour to explore the beautiful coves and bays along the coast.

The popular resort of Albufeira, around a ten minute drive away, has grown dramatically since the 1960’s but offers something for all tastes. It has golden sandy beaches, an old harbour, and to the west, a chic new marina. ‘The Strip’, lined with clubs, bars and restaurants, is the place to go for lively night time entertainment and there are plenty of day time shopping opportunities both in the busy local market or in the mainstream shops. The old Moorish part of town has an ancient castle, charming cobbled streets and interesting churches so you can easily spend an afternoon wandering around its narrow winding alleyways, perhaps stopping for coffee at a pavement bar or café. On the beach itself, you can try out a wide variety of water sports or just relax in the warm sunshine at the water’s edge.

Golf is available locally at the nine hole Balaia Golf course and there are many other nearby courses offer golfing opportunities for players of all standards. Other sporting activities on offer, include tennis and horse-riding, with water parks to visit such as the ‘Slide and Splash’near Lagoa..
