Villa Walkthrough
Traditional one-storey villa with all the accommodation on the ground floor.
Ground Floor
The villa is approached along a short track off a quiet country lane. The entrance has wrought iron gates leading through colourful gardens to the entrance porch.
All the rooms open off the villa’s open plan living area, which is traditionally furnished with Majorcan ornaments adorning the white walls and a rustic beamed ceiling. The living area has seating around the brick feature fireplace and a television with some satellite channels and a DVD player. There is a large dining table with seating for four in front of a window overlooking the garden.
The compact but well-equipped kitchen has fitted pine units and granite worktops. There is a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine as well as a gas hob, oven and fridge/freezer.
The villa’s double bedroom is light and airy with cool tiled floors and white walls. The lovely twin bedroom has dark wood furniture which contrasts with the white tiles underfoot. The sloping ceiling with exposed beams gives this bedroom a very cosy feel.
Both bedrooms share the use of a full bathroom with a bath, shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside
The living area has access to a covered terrace which leads to the pool garden. This area is furnished with a cane table and chairs and is a lovely place to eat lunch or dinner, with a convenient barbecue area to one side. The private swimming pool has a paved surround where you can soak up the sun on the sun-loungers provided. Palms and shrubs at the edge of the terrace dapple the water with shade and there are orange and lemon trees which scent the air.

Location
This attractive holiday villa with private pool and colourful gardens has a quiet location in the Marinas area between Puerto Pollensa and the Old Town. Puerto Pollensa is around a ten minute drive from the villa and has an excellent sandy beach and a range of shops and restaurants. The region has stunning mountain and coastal scenery and there are plenty of opportunities for walking and mountain biking, with boat excursions being an ideal way to view the dramatic rocky shoreline of the nearby Formentor peninsula.
Puerto Pollensa was originally a fishing village which has blossomed into a popular family-friendly resort. The large horseshoe-shaped bay has sheltered waters and a gently shelving sandy beach making it popular with families and young children. There are lots of water sports on offer here from jet ski-ing to windsurfing and the beach has good facilities including beachside cafes, sunbed hire and pedalos. There is also a prestigious sailing club here if you would like to give this a try. Puerto Pollensa has a wide traffic free promenade which extends along the seafront from the marina, past shops, cafes and galleries before narrowing to the ‘Pine Walk’ skirting the bay. Take a stroll along here in the evening and you can stop off for a drink at one of the pavement cafes and watch a variety of street performers at work, from live singers to artists and sand sculptors.
Pollensa Old Town, a few kilometres inland is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. The town has narrow, cobbled street, pretty squares and ancient architecture and seems a world away from the more modern tourist areas. Placa Major, the main square, has a Sunday morning market where you can buy souvenir handicrafts or fresh local produce such as cheese, olives and Mediterranean vegetables to sample at lunch or on the barbecue. Nearby Pollensa Golf is a 9-hole course with wonderful views over the Tramuntana mountains, olive groves and Pollensa bay.
Cala St Vincent is a quiet coastal area surrounded by mountains with pine-clad ground sloping gently to the sea. There are two coves to choose from where you will find sparkling shallow water which is great for families with young children. With convenient parking, a choice of restaurants and sun-loungers and parasols for hire, everything is laid on here for you to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. A further choice of beaches, both pebbled and sandy can be found if you take a drive around the Formentor Peninsula in the northern corner of the island.
If you are looking for a faster pace, the port city of Alcudia, at the southern end of Pollensa Bay is a lively resort with plenty of clubs and bars providing evening entertainment. It also has an excellent beach and a good selection of shops and restaurants. Children will enjoy a visit to the water park here and there are bar and discos if you are looking for a more lively nightlife. The old town area has the remains of a Roman amphitheatre and a beautifully preserved medieval wall and gate.
