This semi-detached villa offers two storey accommodation with a split level ground floor. Two of the bedrooms (both with en suite facilities) are situated on the first floor.

Ground Floor

The villa is bright and spacious with rooms comfortably furnished in a traditional style. The large living room is well-equipped with sofas, a television with some satellite channels, and DVD and CD players. Patio doors lead from here to a lovely shaded terrace adjacent to the villa. Off this room is a dining area with dining table and chairs. The kitchen overlooks the pool, with a door to outside, and has space for a breakfast table and chairs. It comes complete with a washing machine, microwave, oven, hob and fridge/freezer.

There is one double bedroom and one twin room on this floor, both sharing a family bathroom which has a bath, WC, washbasin and bidet. The double room has patio doors leading to outside.

First Floor

Both upstairs rooms have en suite facilities. The double bedroom has a shower room with shower, WC and washbasin, with a further twin room having an en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC, washbasin and bidet.

Outside

The gardens are pleasant and well established with natural shade being provided by trees and palms at the edge of the lawn. The Roman ended swimming pool is flanked by a sun terrace and lawn, with ample space for sunbathing on the sunbeds and chairs set out beside the pool. Also in the pool area is a convenient outdoor shower and a built-in barbecue.

Location

Ideally located for you to enjoy a peaceful family holiday, Montejuntos has a lovely setting in Vale de Parra to the west of the lively resort of Albufeira. Vale de Parra is a pretty countryside area with beautiful beaches nearby at Praia da Gale, Sao Rafael and Castelo. With their incredible red sandstone cliffs, these beaches are some of the best in the Algarve, the sands at Gale in particular stretching for over a couple of kilometres with a range of excellent beachside bars and restaurants. Gale is also a popular choice for windsurfers and scuba divers.

The former fishing village of Albufeira is a very popular holiday destination and has become a large and established resort offering plenty of facilities for a fun-filled holiday. It has a wide range of beaches, amusements, shops and restaurants catering for all tastes, with an array of fine fish restaurants overlooking the newly built marina in the west. The old town still has cobbled streets and narrow alleys and you can visit the old castle or shop in the bustling craft market to buy souvenirs to take home.

A wider selection of shops is available at the Algarve Shopping centre at nearby Guia, a short drive from Albufeira. This double storey shopping mall has over a hundred shops including some recognisable international brands such as Zara or Mango. There is also a bowling alley here, a hypermarket, restaurants and a cinema which shows films in English with subtitles.

If you enjoy a round of golf, there are plenty of courses in the area, the nearest being Salgados Golf which has an 18-hole course dotted with lakes at the edge of the coast near Gale. Balaia Golf village is only 10km away, and if you are prepared to drive a little further along the coast, there are the world class facilities at Vilamoura and Vale do Lobo.

For an enjoyable family day out, you can visit one of the water parks either at Aqualand which is a ten minute drive away or the ‘Slide and Splash’ near Lagoa. Guia has ‘Zoomarine’, an ocean theme park set in lovely grounds where children will be thrilled to see dolphins, sharks and sealions at close quarters, as well as exotic birds.
