This family villa with private pool is situated just 2.5km from Carvoeiro and has a restaurant within a couple of hundred metres. The nearest local supermarket is only 1km from the villa, with a wider choice of shops available in the centre of Carvoeiro. For golfing enthusiasts, there is a choice of two 18-hole courses at Pestana Golf, just 5km away, with plenty of other courses within easy reach.

Carvoeiro was once a quiet fishing village but has blossomed into a popular holiday resort in recent years. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants with market stalls selling handicrafts, ceramics and souvenirs in the cobbled old part of town. Fishermen still land their catches at the harbour and you can try fresh seafood at many of the local restaurants. Nightlife is fairly laid back, based mainly around the family-friendly restaurants in the resort, but there are a couple of clubs and sports bars which stay open until late. The prestigious Carvoeiro Club, to the west of the town, has tennis courts, a gymnasium and a bar/coffee shop. Nearby Monte Carvoeiro has several restaurants and bars around a central square.

There is a good choice of sandy beaches within a short drive of the villa, characterized by beautiful sandy coves nestled beneath rugged cliffs. Boat excursions are a good way to see the incredible rock formations and grottoes at Algar Seco and there are many hidden coves to visit by boat that you will not be able to reach on foot. Carvoeiro town beach is closest to the villa and there are plenty of opportunities for those keen on watersports, including windsurfing, sailing, water ski-ing and snorkelling.

Pestana Golf has two 18-hole courses comprising the Pinta course which is surrounded by ancient olive trees and the Gramacho course, both just to the west of Carvoeiro. The nearby Vale de Milho golf course is a friendly par-3 course with 9 holes. For families with children, there is a water park called the 'Slide and Splash' around 6km away at Lagoa and also the Aqualand Water Park which has plenty of slides, rapids and flumes providing fun and excitement. At Guia, near Albufeira, there is Zoomarine, an ocean theme park set amongst lakes and gardens. Algarve shopping, also at Guia, is a huge shopping mall with over one hundred shops, a hypermarket, bowling alley and multi-screen cinema showing films in English.

Ground Floor

The large open plan living room is decorated in white with a terracotta tiled floor and has a wide archway separating the dining and sitting areas. The comfortable sitting area has easy chairs and a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, with a satellite television, a video player and a portable CD player. The dining area has a formal dining table and seating for eight people. Each area has access to the garden and terrace via glazed French doors.

The villa has a modern kitchen which is well-equipped with a microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer as well as a fridge/freezer, hob and oven. There is a door from here to a small terrace.

A few steps lead up from the living area to three of the villa's bedrooms. There are three pleasantly furnished twin bedrooms, two of which have French windows with access to the garden. One of the bedrooms has the benefit of an en suite bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin, whilst the other two share the use of a separate ground floor shower room.

First Floor

The master bedroom is situated on the first floor and has doors to a private balcony which overlooks the tennis court and pool area - a great place to relax in peace and privacy whilst keeping an eye on the children playing outside. The bedroom has twin beds, a dressing area and an en suite bathroom.

Outside

The villa has large mature gardens surrounded by trees and shrubs with plenty of space to relax and play in the sun or shade. The large swimming pool is bordered by a spacious sun terrace which is equipped with sun-loungers and a parasol. There is a covered dining terrace with a portable barbecue for al fresco meals and also a poolside shower. For the energetic members of your party, there is a private tennis court.
