This spacious linked villa has accommodation on two levels with the living area and kitchen on the upper floor and steps down to the lower level bedrooms. The lower level leads out to the garden, whilst the upper level has doors onto a balcony.

First Floor

The living room is well-furnished with a large cream sofa and armchair positioned opposite the TV cabinet which houses a television with some satellite channels and a DVD player. Two wicker easy chairs sit either side of an attractive brick fireplace with a wood-burning stove. French windows open onto a balcony above the pool garden which is equipped with a dining table and chairs and offers superb views over the golf course to the sea. There is an opening from the living area to the formal dining room which overlooks the pool and has a dining table and bar.

The kitchen is well-equipped with integral appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, oven/hob and fridge/freezer. There is a convenient service hatch through to the dining room.

Ground Floor

Steps lead down from the upper level to one double and one twin bedroom, both with en-suite bathrooms and French windows leading to pretty garden area. There is also a further small internal double bedroom suitable for a child.

Outside

The villa’s pretty garden is bordered by mature hedges giving privacy. The kidney-shaped saltwater pool sits in the centre of a paved sun terrace edged by a small area of lawn to one side. There are integral steps leading into the water, and around the poolside are sun-loungers for lazing in the sun. There is also a patio with a large built-in barbecue and an outdoor dining table and chairs

Air-conditioning and heating are both available for a supplement of £125 per week.

Location

Located on prestigious Vale do Milho Golf resort with other courses nearby, this lovely villa with private pool is ideal for a golfing holiday in the sun. Por do Sol is located on the Vale de Milho estate which has been built up around the 9-hole, 3-par golf course. Whilst not completely secluded, the villa’s pool garden is screened from neighbouring properties by hedges and trees.

There are two restaurants within 800m of the villa, one at the north entrance to the estate and one at the south entrance. There are also other restaurants, a bar, two supermarkets and several shops 800m away along Estrada do Farol. This is also the road to take to Centianes beach, a sandy beach reached by steps and backed by dramatic cliffs, also around 800 from the villa. Please bear in mind that the uphill walk back to the villa can be quite hard work as the road is steep. .

Carvoeiro, just 3km away, was once a quiet fishing village but has steadily grown in size over the years and has a flourishing tourist trade. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. A stroll around the older streets of the town will take you to quaint shops offering local crafts for sale and market stalls selling fresh local goods. The small sandy beach has water sports on offer in summer. Local fishermen still bring home their catches to the harbour, which is a reminder of a past way of life.

The Algarve offers a vast array of world-class golf courses, many of which are in the Carvoeiro area. There are also plenty of opportunities to try other leisure activities such as horse-riding, tennis, water sports, and even wine-tasting. Nearby attractions for children include the Aqualand Water Park at Alcantarilha, around 15km away, the Slide and Splash water park at Lagoa and the Zoomarine park at Guia to the north of Albufeira.
