Located on the popular Vale do Milho Golf resort with a choice of other courses nearby, this comfortable villa with private pool is ideal for a golfing holiday in the sun. There are two restaurants within 800m of the villa, one at the north entrance to the estate and one at the south entrance. There are also other restaurants, a bar, two supermarkets and several shops 800m away along Estrada do Farol. This is also the road to take to Centianes beach, a sandy beach reached by steps and backed by dramatic cliffs, also around 800 from the villa. Please bear in mind that the uphill walk back to the villa can be quite hard work as the road is steep. .
Carvoeiro, just 3km away, was once a quiet fishing village but has steadily grown in size over the years and has a flourishing tourist trade. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. A stroll around the older streets of the town will take you to quaint shops offering local crafts for sale and market stalls selling fresh local goods. The small sandy beach has water sports on offer in summer. Local fishermen still bring home their catches to the harbour, which is a reminder of a past way of life.
The Algarve offers a vast array of world-class golf courses, many of which are in the Carvoeiro area. There are also plenty of opportunities to try other leisure activities such as horse-riding, tennis, water sports, and even wine-tasting. Nearby attractions for children include the Aqualand Water Park at Alcantarilha, around 15km away, the Slide and Splash water park at Lagoa and the Zoomarine park at Guia to the north of Albufeira.

A large variety of good restaurants in the area, along with great beaches in a reasonably quiet area.
Villas to go were easy and friendly to deal with. Villa was well equipped especially for us as a young family. Maid service was good and maid very friendly and helpful.
Would recommend Centaines beach and the 'O stop' restaurant/bar which is 10 mins walk from the villa. Local shop is well stocked. Villa itself is quiet with friendly neighbours and not particularly overlooked. Villa has beautiful views down to the sea. Carvoerio itself is not too touristy so ideal for those with young families or wanting a quieter holiday.
Our villa was fantastic, placing the order and getting the information was fast and efficient, I would highly recommend Villas to go.
Where we stayed Carverio is a beautiful little town,loads of restaurants serving great food the main beach is nice and there are lots of other little beaches in the area that are stunning.

The aspects that we thought were great and have not had provided before were: a welcome pack, beach towels provided, the mid week maid service, lots of useful local information in the house and it was particularly well equipped for a holiday let.
Carviero is a lovely part of Portugal. People are friendly, lots of selection of resturants and a choice of lots of small picturesque and relatively uncrowded beaches. sea a bit cold though.
They talk you through the booking process they understand that people need a holiday and they make you feel relaxed by keeping you updated on your holiday arrangments
