Approach

Each villa on the Quinta da Balaia estate is reached by driving through beautifully landscaped grounds filled with leafy fruit trees and mature pines. Each villa has ample parking space, and some have covered car ports.

Ground Floor

The front door opens to the welcoming living and dining room. Natural light fills the room, giving it a bright and airy feel. The comfortable living area has a large corner sofa, coffee table and TV - ideal for restful moments out of the sunshine. Patio doors lead out to a furnished terrace shaded by tall pines trees.

On the other side of the room is the dining area, with a round dining table to seat four. From here, you enter the stylish modern kitchen. Fully-equipped, the kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The bedrooms are located along a separate corridor. The master bedroom is comfortably furnished, with a double bed, twin nightstands, fitted wardrobes and soft lighting. It also has an en suite full bathroom. The twin bedroom is decorated in fresh citrus colours, with cosy beds and fitted wardrobes. Both bedrooms look out over the leafy gardens.

Outside

Patio doors lead out to a partially covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbeque for leisurely al fresco dining. Just a few steps away is the terrace, with sunloungers and parasols that are perfect for lazing in the sunshine.

Surrounding the villa are mature gardens bordered by a beautiful variety of fruit trees, fragrant pines and leafy palms. Sheltered and shaded by trees and shrubs, the lawn makes an ideal play area for young children, or a secluded reading spot for those seeking some peace and quiet.

Location

The villa is located on the Quinta da Balaia estate, just 2km from the popular resort of Albuferia. There is mini-market on site making it easy to pop out for a loaf of fresh bread. There is also a stylish resort restaurant, so you can enjoy a few drinks with dinner before strolling home through the fragrant resort gardens. Sanata Eulalia Beach is just 1.1km away, and there are a number of sandy beaches to explore, all within short drive of your villa.

When it comes to leisure, you have plenty of options. The Quinta da Balaia resort also has a large communal pool with poolside snack bar and a tennis club with coaching packages available. Just 1km away is the Balaia Golf Village resort, with a scenic 9-hole course. Just a short drive away is Vilamoura, one of Europe's top golf destinations, where you will find a selection of 18-hole championship courses. And with the beach just 800m way, you can choose from a variety of water sports including water skiing, jet skiing, and sailing. Santa Eulalia Beach is a picturesque crescent of gently sloping sand leading to warm shallow waters, making it very popular with families with young children.

Once a traditional fishing village, Albufeira is now a sprawling town with plenty to see and something to suit everyone. During the day you can enjoy the sandy stretches of beach or browse the markets where local handicrafts and fresh goods are sold. In the evening, a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs fill the streets with people and life; locals sit on the terraces of traditional restaurants, the bars fill up with thirsty punters and all kinds of music drift across the air. You can admire the array of white yachts in the newly completed marina in the west. Alternatively, you could stroll around the Old Town and explore the maze of cobbled streets, past white-washed fishermen's houses.

Further east is Vilamoura, an extremely cosmopolitan resort, offering almost every kind of sport and entertainment. You will find six golf courses, sports clubs, horse riding stables, a shooting range, night clubs, a casino and plenty of restaurants and bars.
