There is a river beach only 500 metres from the property, a local shop within half a mile and the charming town of Ponte de Lima with a choice of shops and restaurants a short drive away (7km).

Accommodation

The main house contains four of the bedrooms, the other two are in a separate annexe. ideal for a mixed age party. There are steps up from the driveway to a terrace area and the main entrance which leads into the large living area with timber paneled ceiling and which contains a traditional cast iron fireplace. Doors lead from here into a formal dining area. The spacious kitchen also has a dining table and chairs. There are four double bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. There is a further kitchen/dining room with a traditional bread oven. In the annexe is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a twin bedroom and separate bathroom. There is also a living/dining/kitchen with woodburner. In the basement area is a large games room containing pool table, table football and darts. There are also bicycles available for exploring the local area. Outside the lovely pool (8m x 4m) also features a separate childrens paddling pool (2.5m x 2.5m). A wonderful place to relax surrounded by tranquil woodland, river and hills. The maid will do client's laundry for a small charge.
