The apartment is situated on the ground floor of the owner's house at Dingac, in an area well known for its wine. A path from the property follows the coast some 400 metres to a little hamlet where during the high season there is a very basic village shop and a restaurant; at the far end of the village is a small shingle beach. The village of Ptomje, 5km away, has a shop and a winery. To the south-east of Dingac, about 5km away by road or about 4km by footpath, is the little fishing village of Trstenik which has shops and restaurants. In Prapratna (30km away) you can catch a ferry to the island of Mljet. Orebic, 20km away, also has shops and restaurants and ferry services to Korcula. DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION You enter the air-conditioned apartment from the terrace, which runs along and front and the sides of the apartment. On one side of the front door is the sitting area with four armchairs, a sofa, satellite TV and a coffee table; on the other side is the kitchen/dining room with cooker, microwave, fridge plus a table and chairs for 4. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds both have views out over the terrace to the sea. Each bedroom has its own shower room/WC. The house has electric radiators and a washing machine. Outside is an attractive garden shaded by pine trees. There is a 8m x 5m salt water swimming pool around which the terrace is built, and from which there are wonderful views to the sea and islands of Mljet and Lastovo. The pool is for the exclusive use of Croatian Affair clients. The sea is 15 metres from the house; steps lead down from the terrace to a bathing jetty set upon the rocks. 3 days free.
