Tall Pines is located in Cala San Vicente on the north caost of Mallorca, 2km away from Puerto Pollensa. Cala San Vincente is a relaxed village with shops, cafes, restaurants and cash point all within 400m walk of High Pines. The closest of the village’s three sandy beaches is only 400m from the apartments. Pollensa golf is just 5km away.

Separated from Puerto Pollensa by the dramatic Serra de Tramontana mountain range, Cala San Vincent is a sleepy fishing village set amongst thick pine forests. The rocky headland leads down to two secluded sandy coves surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. Cala San Vincente is a still a traditional fishing village – so much so that you often share the beach with the local fishermen who still use part of it for repairing their nets and storing goods. However, you will always feel like a welcome guest to their way of life. Tall Pines is set in a particularly quiet and pretty position towards to the rear of the village, and is surrounded by tall pines from which it takes its name. Just a short walk from the beach and village amenities, and with a bus stop along the road, it is an excellent choice for families with young children or for couples that want to completely unwind.


Just 5km away is the quaint old town of Pollensa, with many restaurants, cafes and shops tucked way in its cobbled streets. On Sunday, the main café-lined square of Placa Major is filled with market stalls selling local crafts and colourful fresh fruit and flowers. A nice stroll around Pollensa will lead you through winding narrow streets that date back to the 18th Century. Surrounding and sheltering the town are the foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana, providing unforgettable views – and, for the more adventurous, opportunities for walking and hiking.

The beach at Puerto Pollensa, 6.5km away has warm, shallow waters, ideal for families with small children. It offers a selection of water sports, and facilities such as beachside cafes and sunbeds/parasols. However, there are also a number of small coves in the surrounding area for those who want more peace and seclusionIn the evening, take a stroll along the Pine Walk promenade, a pedestrian walkway overhung by palms and fragrant pines. This stretches from the marina to the beach, past luxury yachts and colourful fishing boats.

Within the Pollensa region is the Albufereta Nature Reserve, covering 150 hectares with canals, lakes and reed beds; protected homes to a wide variety of birds. This peaceful location is about 10km south of Pollensa town. There are a number of other attractions scattered around the island. From world-class golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding, to wine-tasting and thrilling water sports, there’s something for all the family.
