This townhouse is only a stone’s throw from the Praça (or promenade) of Vale do Lobo; an exclusive resort known for its sophisticated sea-front cafes and restaurants and world-class golf courses. Also just a two minute stroll away is the beach with its expanse of fine golden sands.

Vale do Lobo has a stunning coastline with a long, golden sandy beach stretching eastwards towards Quinta do Lago, lapped by the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular with local surfers and holidaymakers alike, here you can hire sun beds and parasols and spend a lazy day in the sun, perhaps visiting the fashionable beachside restaurant for a long lunch. During the summer months, there are various watersports on offer along the sea front.

For golfers, there is a choice of championship courses in the area, the nearest being the development’s own two courses, Royal and Ocean, approximately 1 km away. The 18-hole Ocean course has undulating fairways which lead down to the Atlantic along the edge of the nature reserve whereas the Royal Golf Course’s fairways are gently rolling and set amidst pine trees and lakes. Quinta do Lago South (the course used for the Portuguese open) and Quinta do Lago North are approximately 4.5km away.

Vale do Lobo shopping is around 1km from the property, with Vale do Lobo’s renowned ‘Praca’ within easy walking distance. The Praca is filled with prestigious shops, international restaurants and lively bars and has a lido-style swimming pool. There are fourteen tennis courts at the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy which is the largest tennis centre in Portugal. Here you can simply hire a court to play against family and friends or book a lesson with a professional coach to improve your game. Other sporting activities available include squash and horse riding or you can visit the gym and maybe try one of the beauty treatments on offer at the Royal Spa.

The tranquil old town of Faro, regional capital of the Algarve is only around 20km away, where you can explore the maze of narrow pedestrian streets and alleyways or view the wonderful Renaissance style cathedral in the central town square.

Nearby family attractions include the ‘Aqua Show’ water park, a 15 minute drive from Vale do Lobo and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park in Albufeira, approximately 25km away. The inland town of Loulé, 20 minutes away by car, has a craft market every Saturday where the traditional, local craftsmen display their wares.

Ground Floor

The townhouse’s spacious open plan living area has an eye-catching marble floor, with white walls and ceiling creating a light and fresh feel. There is an open fireplace and a comfortable lounge with a large sofa and two armchairs on either side of the sliding French doors to the balcony. The room also has a television and a round dining table with seating for four people.

The kitchen opens off the living area and has white units, a microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob and fridge/freezer.

There are two bedrooms. The twin bedroom has simple wooden beds, a bedside light and table and fitted wardrobes with louvre doors. The second bedroom is located on the ground floor and is light and spacious with sliding doors opening to outside. There are two full bathrooms with a bath/overbath shower, WC, washbasin, bidet.

Outside

Sliding doors from the living room open to a first floor balcony with patio dining furniture. This area opens out to a larger walled sun terrace equipped with sun-loungers – a great spot for sunbathing with sea views.
