Villa Alba is only a three minute car drive from the sea at Puerto Pollensa. The immediate area is quiet and private, ideal for those who would like to get away from the fast pace of modern life.

Villa Alba is situated in one of the most picturesque areas of the island, close to Puerto Pollensa which has a sweeping horseshoe bay and shallow waters which are calm and clear blue. The blanket of sand is fresh and white, and there are plenty of beachside activities and facilities to entertain holidaymakers of all ages. The port has a lovely promenade called Pine Walk which stretches from the beach to the marina, and is a popular place for an evening stroll. Puerto Pollensa has a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from, but nightlife tends to be very low key.

Inland Pollensa is an old Roman town which has winding cobbled streets which lead to the leafy central square – Placa Major. The square is lined with open air cafes and restaurants and is the site of the town’s market on Sunday mornings – a Majorcan event not to be missed, the stalls heave with fresh local produce and traditional handicrafts.

Great location very versitile living space brilliant pool and grass around it.

don't know as we were so impressed with the villa and pool that we hardly ventured out other than to alcudia which was a pleasant place to visit.

Very good value for money and a very straightforward booking system. Everything was in place as requested and I cannot fault the villa's facilities save a lack of TV channels (which was explained)

A very good location being in a very tranquil location but only a 5 minute drive to the beach, restaurants and shops etc

Mr Whittington, Wiltshire, July 2008 Very Happy

Villa exceeded our expectations, beautiful location, very well kept and great gardens and large pool. Children had lots of space to play and the outside seating area was a great place to relax with the adults (with a bottle of wine or two!). Villa was thoroughly cleaned half way through the week as was the pool. Overall delighted and if this standard is consistent throughout Villa to go's portfolio we will definately be looking to book with them again next year.

Villa Alba was fairly rural but 5 mins from Puerto Pollensa where you will find a beautiful safe beach, bars, seafood restaurants etc. Surrounding the bay are the spectacular mountain ranges which make this a truly special place to unwind from the stresses of working life!

Fantastic view, very close to the beach and porto pollensa but still secluded and quiet. Don't go to the restaurants in porto pollensa as expensive and food poor. Pollensa restaurants much better.
