Villa Benita is a double storey villa, with one of the bedrooms downstairs, and the remaining bedrooms on the upper level.

Ground Floor

The villa has entry gates which open into the villa’s grounds and a large parking area. The entrance door leads into a spacious open plan lounge with delightful beamed ceilings and a light airy feeling of space. There is comfortable seating for six people, a feature wall and a rustic fireplace curving into the corner of the room – ideal for the cooler evenings. The room also has a dining table and seating along with a television which has some satellite channels. The long kitchen has a breakfast table with seating for six people, and comes equipped with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and separate pantry. A door from the kitchen leads out onto the terrace which overlooks the pool and the delightful gardens. Also leading off the central living area is a twin bedroom that has an en-suite shower room.

First Floor

Stairs lead from the living area up to the second storey where the remaining bedrooms can be found. The landing has doors which lead to a twin bedroom, a double bedroom with doors opening onto the covered balcony which has incredible views of the villa’s gardens, and the groves and mountains beyond. Both these bedrooms share the full family bathroom which has a bath, washbasin, bidet and wc.

Outside

Villa Benita is set in mature gardens with leafy palm trees and manicured lawns surrounded by glorious countryside. The rectangular pool (8m x 4m x 1-2m deep) has both ladder access and a Roman style end and is flanked on one side by the sun-drenched terrace which has numerous sun-loungers for those who enjoy basking in the sun. The pool is surrounded by exotic plants in terracotta pots and has a delightful outlook.

The villa also has a covered terrace complete with outdoor dining furniture next to the built-in barbecue which is ideal for outdoor dining. A feature well and pretty flowering shrubs make this a charming place to spend time in the warm Majorcan evenings.

Location

The villa enjoys an attractive countryside location yet is only minutes away from the pretty historic town of Pollensa - an old Roman town with twisting medieval streets and a central town square. It has a lively market on Sundays, and evening entertainment centres around Placa Major where bars and restaurants come to life after dark. The north-east of Majorca has one of the prettiest coastlines on the whole island, and beach life is plentiful. Puerto Pollensa is 10km away from Villa Benita and has a sweeping horseshoe bay and shallow waters and Puerto Alcudia has 11km fine white sand stretching along the coast. Puerto Pollensa has a memorable promenade, Pine Walk, which stretches between the beach and the marina, overhung with palms. The busier Puerto Alcudia has a wide range of restaurants and boutiques lining pedestrianised walkways and a lively nightlife with late-opening bars and cafes.


Within the Pollensa region is the Albufereta Nature Reserve, covering 150 hectares with canals, lakes and reed beds, a protected home to a wide variety of birds. This peaceful location is about 10km south of Pollensa town.

There are a number of attractions scattered around the island. From world-class golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding, to wine-tasting and thrilling water sports, there’s something for all the family.
