Ground Floor

The spacious open plan living area has sofas and a coffee table by large sliding patio doors to the terrace with a dining table and chairs at the back of the room. The kitchen has fitted light wood units, stylish stainless steel appliances including an American fridge, integral oven and microwave and a breakfast table and chairs. The washing machine is housed in a separate laundry room.

The villa has four bedrooms which are all on the ground floor. There are three twin bedrooms with en suite shower rooms and a lovely master bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom.

Air conditioning is available on request (supplement payable).

Outside

A cobbled pathway leads around the villa to the garden and terrace.

The pool is a lovely feature of the property, with its circular design and integral steps curving gently into the water. It has a depth range of 1.2 to 1.8m and is bordered by a paved terrace and lawn dotted with palms and trees.

The villa has wide sliding patio doors with traditional green shutters which open to a large covered terrace furnished with a long white table and chairs. Perfect for al fresco meals and drinks at any time of day, this area also has a comfortable seating area in one corner. There is a barbecue area and steps leading down to the pool.

This family villa with private pool has a convenient location on the exclusive Vale do Lobo development close to Barringtons Hotel and Spa. The villa is within easy walking distance of the beach and ‘Praca’. The resort has a stunning coastline with a long, golden sandy beach stretching eastwards towards Quinta do Lago, lapped by the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular with local surfers and holidaymakers alike, here you can hire sun beds and parasols and spend a lazy day in the sun, perhaps visiting the fashionable beachside restaurant for a long lunch. During the summer months, there are various watersports on offer along the sea front.

For golfers, there is a choice of championship courses in the local area, the nearest being the development’s own two courses, Royal and Ocean, approximately 1.5km away. The 18-hole Ocean course has undulating fairways which lead down to the Atlantic along the edge of the nature reserve whereas the Royal Golf Course’s fairways are gently rolling and set amidst pine trees and lakes. Quinta do Lago South (the course used for the Portuguese open) and Quinta do Lago North are approximately 4km away.

The Praca is filled with prestigious shops, international restaurants and lively bars and has a lido-style swimming pool. There are fourteen tennis courts at the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy which is the largest tennis centre in Portugal. Here you can simply hire a court to play against family and friends or book a lesson with a professional coach to improve your game. Other sporting activities available include squash and horse riding or you can visit the gym and maybe try one of the beauty treatments on offer at the Royal Spa. Val do Lobo Shopping is the resorts own shopping centre.

The tranquil old town of Faro, regional capital of the Algarve is around 20km away, where you can explore the maze of narrow pedestrian streets and alleyways or view the wonderful Renaissance style cathedral in the central town square.

Nearby family attractions include the ‘Aqua Show’ water park, a 15 minute drive from Vale do Lobo and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park at Guia near Albufeira, approximately 25km away. The inland town of Loulé, 20 minutes away by car, has a craft market every Saturday where the traditional, local craftsmen display their wares.
