This large villa enjoys a great location at Alfanzina to the east of Rocha Brava. There is a local shop and restaurant only 500m from the villa and the nearest beach is approximately 2km away. Carvoeiro centre is within a few minutes’ drive.
Carvoeiro was once a quiet fishing village but has steadily grown in size over the years and has a flourishing tourist trade. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. A stroll around the older streets of the town will take you to quaint shops offering local crafts for sale and market stalls selling fresh local goods. Local fishermen still bring home their catches to the harbour, which is a reminder of a past way of life.
The rugged coastline here offers a choice of sandy beaches, the nearest being Centianes Beach to the east of Carvoeiro, which is a long, sandy beach backed by steep cliffs and reached via steps. Carvalho, also known as ‘Smugglers Cove’ is a beautiful cove reached by a long flight of steps and a tunnel below the car park at the Club Atlantico development.
The Algarve has a huge choice of excellent golf courses, the nearest being the 9-hole Vale de Milho course just 1km from the villa. There are also tennis courts for hire within walking distance and plenty of other leisure facilities available in the surrounding area including horse-riding, water sports, walking and sightseeing. Nearby attractions for families include the Aqualand Water Park at Alcantarilha, around 15km away, the Slide and Splash water park just off the N125 near Lagoa and the Zoomarine park at Guia to the north of Albufeira.

Quiet location.
Peace and quiet was definitely the best feature. Villa was excellent compared to others we saw during our stay.
Villa was lovely - even better than photos. Everything was provided for you e.g. maid, gardener, pool man etc.
Location was perfect for families. There was a supermarket (quite expensive) and a number of restaurents within walking distance. Less than 5 euro in taxi into centre of Carvoeiro.
The villa was more spacious than it looked in the pictures and very clean and well fitted out. The maid visited most days and kept the villa clean and gardeners and the pool man visited regularly. Well maintained.
It was perfect for us, quiet and lovely surroundings with a lively town a 5 minute taxi ride away. Restaurants with fabulous food just a 5 minute walk from villa.

The villa was well maintained,had all the amenities and was cleaned daily in a beautiful Area
Good Restaurants,friendly Atmosphere and lovely and Peaceful with Beautiful Scenery.
I would tell them that we had the best service. Every day the gardeners, cleaners etc came by to check if everything was still okay. If anything at all was wrong, they would send someone immediately, so that was absolutely fantastic!
Very quiet, but you could still walk to the beaches and a lot of nice restaurants, so that was great as well.

Area (Carveiro, Portugal) was superb, great beaches, restaurants, facilities - and amazingly clean! Will definitely go to Portugal again.

The service was excellent (before and upon arrival). The villa was beautiful and fully corresponded to the decription provided on the website.
The villa is in a quiet neigbourhood outside Carvoeiro, a busy tourist place with lots of restaurants and shops. There are many beuatiful beaches close by. We particularly liked the hiking trail along the coast which connect all the beaches (this was not mentioned in the information provided in the villa - suggest to add it). The trail passes by the Villa (less than 5 minutes walking distance).
