Villa Cubo

Villa Cubo is situated in the seaside resort of Binibeca. The sea is within walking distance of the villa, but a car journey along the coastal road will allow you to visit many more of the delightful sandy bays and coves that make up this part of the Menorcan shoreline.
Binibeca, with its stretch of fine white sand known locally as Cala Del Binibeca, is very popular with families. The beach here has a gently gradient and the warm shallow waters are ideal for small children. A beach bar offers refreshments and sun-loungers for hire and you can take out a pedalo in the summer months. At Binibeca Nou you’ll find a diving centre and there are public tennis courts in the main resort.
Cala Torret, at the eastern end of Binibeca has a good selection of shops and restaurants whereas Binisafua, a small coastal village to the west has a quiet beach with some shops and a few restaurants overlooking the sea. This laid-back village is suitable for those wishing to get away from it all and has a natural harbour and cove which is popular for snorkelling and swimming.
The island’s historical capital, Mahon, is just 8 km from Villa Cubo and is home to the world’s second deepest natural harbour. Here you can sit and watch the yachts and fishing boats as they come and go from the port, or take a boat trip yourself to learn a bit about Menorca’s fascinating island history. There are also many interesting buildings and ruins within the city and several museums. The city itself offers a wide range of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and comes to life at night. If evening entertainment is what you are looking for, most of the busy clubs and bars are concentrated near the main port and you will also find a number of live music venues for something different.
