Central location on gulf coast - easy access to Tampa in the north & Everglades in the South. Englewood beach is lovely - good for sharks teeth - but numerous other good beaches nearby. Port Charlotte good for shopping & restaurants, Venice likewise. Try Lock & Key restaurant at Englewood Beach & Sharkys restaurant on Venice Pier.
