Approach

Villa Fenella is set in attractive sun drenched countryside a short drive from the hamlet of Cas Concos, near Felanitx. This coral coloured villa has shuttered windows and provides comfortable accommodation set on one level and furnished to a high standard.

Ground Floor

The main living/dining area is large and welcoming with a wonderful terracotta tiled floor, comfortable sofas set in an L-shape around a traditional woodburner and the television which has some satellite channels. Here you can dine in style at the large oval dining table or wander out through the French doors to the covered terrace with the pool and lawns beyond.

The spacious kitchen has sleek beech style units topped with marble worktops and splashbacks. There is a large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and an integral oven with hob and extractor fan above. A washing machine is provided in a separate utility room. The kitchen has a breakfast table and chairs so it is your choice whether to eat inside or out on the rose-scented terrace overlooking the pool!

The master double bedroom is light and airy, with a large double bed and an armchair and the garden is just a step away through curtained patio doors. Outside

The rectangular pool is screened from the surrounding countryside by a well-kept hedge. A broad pathway leads to the pool from the covered terrace adjacent to the villa, and is flanked by lawns and borders planted with shrubs. Villa Fenella is set in a secluded, rural location yet is just a short drive from the hamlet of Cas Concas and the small towns of Felanitx, Campos and Santanyi which offer local shopping and dining.

Felanitx, an old town whose narrow winding streets are lined with handsome 18th and 19th century houses, is well known for its Sunday morning market in the main square where you can buy fresh local produce and crafts such as wine, ceramics and capers. Campos has medieval origins as a market town and still holds a farmers’ market on Thursdays and Saturdays. It is also locally renowned for its bakery shop which is reputedly the best on the island.

The popular coastal resort of Cala d’Or can be found a short drive away and offers a host of sandy coves and creeks to explore by car or on foot – you can even take a ride in one of the glass bottomed boats that will let you stop off at your chosen beach for the day. Spend the day swimming and relaxing by the warm water’s edge and then head to the resort centre in the evening to sample the restaurants, bars and nightlife on offer, or visit the impressive Cala d’Or marina which attracts yachts and cruisers from across the Mediterranean.

A wide range of outdoor activities are on offer in the local area, including golf at the 18 hole Vall d’Or golf course near the village of S’Horta.
