Villa Walkthrough
The stone-clad Villa Georgina has two floors with two bedrooms on the first floor, and a master bedroom enjoying privacy up on the first floor.
Ground Floor
Villa Georgina, in a tranquil residential area close to Pollensa old town, is built from stone with an exposed façade, typical of many villas on the island. As you come up the driveway there are olive groves on the left and a path leads around the side to the main door beneath the shaded terrace.
Ground Floor
As you walk through the front door you enter the open-plan living area with tall white walls and high beamed ceilings. There are lots of colourful framed prints on the white walls, and an imposing open staircase. The living area has a comfy sitting room with sofas and coffee tables. The sitting area has satellite TV with a DVD player, a Playstation 2 and a CD player. So there’s plenty of options to keep the kids amused and out of the midday sun for half an hour.
Beneath the mezzanine level is a dining area with a large circular table and six chairs. Conveniently nearby is the kitchen which is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine.
Corridors take you to the prettily furnished downstairs bedrooms, both with twin wooden beds and the use of a full family bathroom.
First Floor
The staircase leads to a small hallway from which there is a master bedroom on the left, and a bathroom on the right. The master bedroom has a double wooden bed and matching bedside tables with small reading lamps.
Outside
To the front of the villa is a large terraced veranda, covered by a wooden beamed roof. To the right, leafy grapevines wind over the supports, providing dappled shade. Under the shade is a wooden garden table and six chairs, where you can enjoy a long, lazy lunch.
There is a wide stretch of green lawn between the terrace and private pool, which has metal ladder access. The sun-filled lawn is the perfect place to relax on a lounger and soak up the warming sunshine. From the garden there are views over the neighbouring groves where twisted olive trees grow in neat rows. A thick fir hedge borders the other two sides of the garden, providing seclusion

Location
Villa Georgina is situated in La Font, an upmarket residential area on the outskirts of Pollensa old town. La Font is well away from main roads so it is wonderfully quiet and enjoys lovely views over the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains. This villa’s gardens are enclosed by an olive grove on one side and a thick hedge secluding it from the neighbour on the other.
The quaint old town of Pollensa, is just 800m away with restaurants and shops along winding narrow streets dating back to the 18th Century. On Sunday mornings, a market fills the café-lined Placa Major square with stalls of fresh fruit, flowers and local crafts.
Surrounding and sheltering the town are the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, providing unforgettable views - and for the more adventurous, opportunities for walking and hiking.
The beach at Puerto Pollensa, 6.6km away has warm, shallow waters, which make it ideal for families with small children. It offers a selection of water sports and facilities such as beachside cafes and sunbeds/parasols. However, there are a number of small coves in the surrounding area for those who want more peace and seclusion.
The harbour of Pollensa is home to an array of luxury yachts, as well as colourful, local fishing boats. In the evening, take a stroll along the Pine Walk promenade, a pedestrian walkway overhung by palms and fragrant pines. This stretches from the marina to the beach, past luxury villas and apartments.
Within the Pollensa region is the Albufereta Nature Reserve, covering 150 hectares with canals, lakes and reed beds, a protected home to a wide variety of birds. This peaceful location is about 10km south of Pollensa town.
There are a number of attractions scattered around the island. From world-class golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding, to wine-tasting and thrilling water sports, there’s something for all the family.
