Milo is a summer, hillside resort founded in the 14th century and having a scattering of old, dignified villas. Villa Il Padrino is 500 metres above the village at the end of a one hundred metre driveway from a secondary road and set in immense grounds with tall, mature trees.

Shady areas have been furnished for dining out, but the front of the house also has a circular furnished terrace that is open to the sun and a magnificent vista. On a lower level, the owners have installed an above ground swimming pool.As could be expected from a villa of its age, the rooms are of large proportions with very high ceilings, giving a cooling, airy effect. The furnishings are solid in keeping with the style of the building. Although a modern kitchen has been completed, the original kitchen has been saved as a relic and is quite amazing.
