Villa Iris is situated in a pleasant residential area within the popular Algarve resort of Vilamoura. Ideally located for golfing enthusiasts, the villa is just a five minute walk from the Pinhal Golf course with a further five golf courses close by. There are local amenities within walking distance with Vilamoura’s chic marina and beach 2.5km and 3.5km away respectively. Other attractions at Vilamoura include a tennis club, riding school, sports centre, shooting club, casino, cinema and bowling green.

Set within beautiful surroundings of fragrant pine forests and sparkling turquoise sea, Vilamoura has been carefully constructed to complement its natural surroundings. The lovely coastline here has unusual red-coloured rock and pine covered headlands. The beaches run along either side of the marina. Falesia beach is a long stretch of sand backed by cliffs and runs from the Vilamoura marina as far west as the fishing village of Olhos D’Agua, whereas Marina beach is on the eastern side. The beaches have fine white sand and excellent water sports facilities. There are also shower and toilet facilities and several good restaurants overlooking the marina. Popular boat excursions run from the marina or you can book an exciting fishing trip with the Big Game Fishing Centre

The resort also has a good selection of designer boutiques, shoe stores, sports outlets, perfumeries and jewellers. At nearby Loule, you can visit the Saturday market and browse the colourful stalls selling fresh local produce and traditional handicrafts. A little further afield at Guia near Albufeira, you will find the huge Algarve Shopping centre which has over one hundred shops selling a wide range of luxury goods and clothes. Algarve Shopping also has a hypermarket, bowling alley and a multi screen cinema screening films in English with subtitles.

Vilamoura has its own waterslide park which which may appeal to families with children. At Browns leisure centre there are indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, tennis courts and restaurants. The resort also has a mini land train which is a convenient way to get around town.

Ground Floor

The villa has a sunny sitting room with a fireplace and French doors to the pool garden. A comfortable sofa and two armchairs are set around a coffee table opposite a television which has some satellite channels and a DVD player. There is an open archway leading to a formal dining area furnished with an oval table with seating for six. A further set of French doors open from here to the garden.

The bright and compact kitchen has pine units and a white tiled splashback. It is equipped with a dishwashwer, washing machine and microwave as well as a hob, oven and fridge/freezer.

Opening off a hallway is a light and airy double bedroom on this floor, furnished with a wrought iron double bed band and benefiting from an en suite bathroom. There is also a pretty twin bedroom which has the use of a separate ground floor family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC and washbasin.

First Floor

The spacious master bedroom has twin beds and an en suite shower room. Patio doors open to a first floor balcony with steps leading down to the pool garden. All the bedrooms and the sitting/dining rooms have air-conditioning available at an extra charge if required.

Outside

The villa sits in a good-sized garden with boundary hedges and walls. To the rear is a large lawn with plenty of natural shade provided by tall pine trees, making this area a pleasant place for children to play. The lovely pool has a shallow children’s section at one end and is bordered by a paved terrace with ample space for sunbathing on the sun-loungers provided. There is also a covered dining terrace just outside the living room and a built-in barbecue for easy outdoor meals. Exterior steps lead to the first floor terrace
