Villa Jovita is in the growing resort of Callao Salvaje, a ten minute drive to the north of Playa de las Americas on the west coast of Tenerife. Once a quiet fishing village, the resort has blossomed in recent years and is becoming a popular low key resort. There are several Spar-style supermarkets which sell recognisable UK branded goods and in the centre there are several bars and restaurants catering to a variety of tastes.

The main beach is a rocky cove, but the bright lights and beach activity of Playa de las Americas is close, and closer still are the stunning sandy beaches at Fañabe. Callao Salvaje is ideally situated to explore the island, as the motorway network which links the island is close by - whether you want to head north to the Tiede National park, or head to the busy resorts of the south. For golf lovers, the nearest course is at Costa Adeje, a 5 minute drive away.

Approach

Villa Jovita is a single storey villa offering comfortable accommodation. Set in a pretty garden with a private kidney shaped pool, the villa has pretty gardens and well established shrubs. The garden is approached by a pedestrianised walkway, and next door to Villa Manuela.

Ground Floor

The open plan living space of Villa Jovita is bright and airy with comfortable seating for six people and large patio doors giving easy access to the pool terrace and outdoor dining area. The living room is equipped with a television which has some satellite channels and a DVD player, as well as a CD stereo. Close to the open plan kitchen area is a circular dining table with four chairs, and there is a large breakfast bar with bar stools. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, and fridge/freezer.

Also on this level are the villa’s bedrooms. The master has an en-suite with a bath/overhead shower, washbasin and WC. The two other bedrooms have twin beds and share the separate bathroom, which has a shower, and also houses the washing machine. The double has patio doors which open out onto the delightful garden, as does one of the twin rooms.

Outside

The pretty grounds of Villa Jovita have established trees and shrubs, along with pleasant lawns and a private kidney shaped pool. The pool is 7.5m x 4.2m, and 1-1.7m deep with a metal ladder access. The pool can be heated during the winter months. There is a patio set for outdoor dining which is sheltered by a retractable canopy, and sun-loungers on the terrace for those who enjoy sun bathing. There is a portable barbecue for al fresco dining in the warm summer evenings.

Villa Jovita is next door to Villa Manuela. Please note that the villa is accessed by a pedestrianised footpath. This Villa has a Friday changeover day.
