Villa Latina is situated in a residential area of Puerto del Carmen. With the nearest beach only 500m away and local shops and restaurants also within walking distance, the villa is ideally located for families or groups of friends not wishing to travel far on a daily basis.

Puerto del Carmen is the main holiday resort on the south coast of Lanzarote and is close to the island’s capital, Arrecife. The resort centre has plenty of lively bars, international restaurants, ice cream parlours, amusements and shopping facilities along its famous ‘Avenida de las Playas’ . Alternatively, you can wander the narrow streets and cobbled alleys of the old town, perhaps enjoying a meal in one of the laid-back tapas bars or visit the harbour with its array of good quality fish restaurants offering locally caught seafood.

All the beaches in Puerto del Carmen have been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and the main beach in the resort, Playa Grande, is gently sloping and sandy, making it popular with families and young children. The conditions along this coast are generally favourable for windsurfing and diving, with a number of places offering tuition and equipment hire. The long promenade or ‘Avenida’ which stretches for several kilometres along the sea front is great for walking, cycling and jogging.

The nightlife in Puerto del Carmen is lively and varied with something to suit all tastes. Night clubs stay open until the early hours but you can also find romantic restaurants overlooking the ocean that are perfect for a quiet meal for two. You will also find venues offering live music and karaoke.
For something different, visit the Timanfaya National Park which is situated in the west of the island and has amazing natural land features formed by volcanic eruptions many years ago. Attractions include the artificial geysers at the Islote de Hilario that spring up when water is poured into deep magma chambers 3km below the ground, and the El Golfo lagoon with its incredible emerald green water.

Ground Floor

This family villa provides comfortable open plan living accommodation and is nicely decorated with tiled flooring underfoot, white painted walls and smart pine furniture. Seating is grouped around a small coffee table and a large pine dresser houses the television which has some satellite channels. There is a dining table with seating for six, with an archway leading through to the well-equipped kitchen which is fitted with white units and benefits from a washing machine and dishwasher as well as a hob, oven and fridge/freezer. There are patio doors leading from the living area to the pool garden.

The master bedroom has a double bed, en suite bathroom and patio doors leading conveniently out to the pool. The other two bedrooms have twin beds and share the use of a separate family bathroom which has a bath with overhead shower, WC and washbasin. All three rooms are bright and airy with good quality furnishings.

Outside

A pleasantly shaded terrace is set with a dining table and chairs and there is a walled sun terrace surrounding the private swimming pool. Plenty of sun-loungers are provided so that you can soak up the sun in comfort. Outdoor meals can be cooked on the barbecue.
