Approach

Villa Lucinda is located in the quiet and picturesque Vila Sol golf resort. There is a driveway behind the villa, and a path leading through the gardens to the front door.

Ground Floor

The front door opens into the open-plan living and dining area. The living area is positioned under a sunny window, with a sofa and armchairs cosily arranged around a television. At the other end of the room is a separate dining area to seat four. From here a doorway leads into the kitchen, which has a breakfast table to seat four. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
From the living area, a separate corridor leads to a downstairs bathroom and twin bedroom. The sunny, twin room is comfortably furnished, with cosy beds, built-in wardrobes and smooth wooden floors.

First Floor

Upstairs are two double rooms, one with an en suite bathroom, and a twin room. All three bedrooms have access via a door on the landing to a lovely terrace, where you can enjoy a peaceful cup of morning coffee in privacy. There is a separate full bathroom on this floor.

Outside

Stepping out of the patio doors brings you onto the shaded terrace. Just a few steps away is the pool, with integral steps for easy access. Surrounding the pool and villa on all sides is a lush, green lawn, bordered by neat hedges. The large garden makes a great place for the children to play, or for you to stretch out under the shade of a tree. At the end of the lawn is a stone barbeque, nestled amongst the orange trees.

Villa Lucinda is located within the Vila Sol resort in Vilamoura. Vila Sol is an award-winning golf resort and country club that prides itself on its landscaped beauty, diverse wildlife, abundance of leisure and fitness facilities, kid’s club, and arts centre. The nearest restaurant is only 500m from the villa, and there are shops within a short drive. The stylish Vilamoura marina and golden Marina Beach are easily accessible and only 4km from the villa.

Vila Sol is a prime location, offering peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, just five minutes drive from the marina and beach. The resort offers a fitness centre, with gymnasium, sauna and Turkish baths. There is also a lovely fitness circuit through shady pines and almond trees for those who like to jog or walk. Vila Sol is particularly proud of its arts centre, which stages music, theatre, and ballet, and promotes literature and audio-visual arts. And then of course, there’s the golf course. Vila Sol is home to fabulous 27-hole golf course which stretches along a wide valley and is divided into three loops with three different levels of difficulty: Prime, Challenge and Prestige.

Vilamoura is an extremely cosmopolitan resort, and one of Europe’s major golf destinations. Almost every kind of sport and entertainment are on offer, including six golf courses, sports clubs, horse riding stables, a shooting range, night clubs, a casino and plenty of restaurants and bars. Villa Lucinda is just 4km from the marina, where most of the restaurants and bars can be found - as well as a wonderful array of flamboyant yachts.
Located between a fragrant pine forest, reclaimed wetlands and sparkling, turquoise seas, Vilamoura has been carefully built to incorporate the natural surroundings. Just 3km from the beach, the area boasts beautiful coastline with unusual red-coloured rock and pine tree covered cliffs. For the avid historians there are a preserved Roman site and a museum providing insights to the area's past; originally a Roman fishing town, the ruins include excavated baths in which the mariners used to bathe.

Viila was in a good condition and maintained well. Villas to go offered a very friendly and efficient service answering all queries and responding to e-mails promptly. All in all a very good sevice.

Golfers retreat, peacefull and quiet, Marina a short taxi ride away. Good restaurants in the area and within Quarteira and Villamoura.
