Villa Walkthrough
Villa Marcos is set on one floor, with rooms leading off from either side of the central hallways. Patio doors open onto the pool terrace from the conservatory and master bedroom.
Ground Floor
A door at the end of the large entrance hall, opens into a series of smaller, inner hallways; off from which the rooms are found.
Continuing straight ahead, the hallway passes the kitchen and first two bedrooms and opens out to the light and bright living space. To the left is a small square living room, and ahead is a large corner bar with a large shelving unit. The snug, homely sitting room has an attractive open fireplace, soft patterned rug and two large sofas. Along the side wall is a large wooden side dresser with TV. Adjoining the living room is a small conservatory, separated from the living room by a large window and doorway. This warm, glazed room has a dining table and chairs overlooking the pool; a lovely room for family meals in the late evening sun.
The kitchen is fitted with two rows of units at both base and eye level. It is well-equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and oven/hob.
Adjacent to the conservatory and living room is the spacious master bedroom. As you enter, there is a large wardrobe with double doors ahead, in a small corridor opening to the main bedroom space. Here there is a double bed, bedside cabinets and patio doors sliding open to the sun-filled pool terrace. A doorway leads to the en-suite shower room which is tiled and fitted with a shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.
A small inner lobby is found off from the central hallway, and there is a bedroom on either side. The first is a double bedroom with an ornate wooden-framed bed, bedside cabinets with small reading lamps and a large free-standing wardrobe. The other is similarly furnished but fitted with twin beds. Between the rooms is a tiled bathroom with full bathtub, toilet and washbasin. Here there is also a small cloakroom, and the garden also has an outdoor shower - handy for rinsing off the sand after a sand-castling session down at the beach.
Outside
Patio doors open from the conservatory and master bedroom onto a large sun-drenched terrace. In the centre (one step down) is the private pool with metal ladder for access. The expanse of sun terrace around the poolside is lined with sunloungers and parasols for lazing in the warm sunshine. The garden is well secluded thanks to its elevated position and the surrounding thick green hedges and white walls. To the right, a staircase descends to the surprising garden room, set in a cool, shaded area beneath the pool. Here there is a barbecue, sink and dining area. This lovely, unusual feature is a great setting for long, lazy lunches and family barbecues.
Another great feature of Villa Marco's garden is the roof terrace above. A long staircase rises up alongside the villa to this sunny spot. From here, there are beautiful views across the blue Atlantic Ocean that laps the shores of the Olhos D'agua beach.

Vill marcos was an excellant choice for us,but would find it unsuitable for children who are unable to swim and would like to use it as a fun pool. we found maria of villastogo and the owner of the villa very helpful on our last day.Experience Recommendations:
Plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets all within 5mins walk of villa.

Excellent holiday. the owner visited regularly to check everything was fine. we weren't happy with the travel cot but he went out a bought a new one on the second day! excellent maid service. villa ideally situated for the beach. only thing to point out is that the swimming pool is not fenced in as described on the website - bit of a challenge with 3 under 5's but we coped! no hesitation in booking next year again with you.Experience Recommendations:
Definitely try restaurant ambrosia in olhos d'agua for authentic portuguese food

We stayed in villa marcos which was in a great location. you came out of the villa and if you turned right and walked down the road you come to some steps which take you down to an amazing beach and beach bar which was just lovely. if you come out the villa and turn left there is several supermarkets right near by and a good bar called domino' bar. the owners are very friendly and we became good friends ! the villa was very spacious and the pool was huge. the bbq area was great. the beach was great and very picturesque with the unusual landscape.
villas to go were great, excellent communication they responded very quickly to any question we had concerning the holiday. we booked transfers through them aswell and they were excellent.
we would definitely travel with villas to go again in the future.Experience Recommendations:

Location
Villa Marcos is located in the beautiful sea-side village of Olhos D'Agua; just 150m from the golden sands of the beach. This well-designed and homely villa is situated just off from the road leading down to the heart of Olhos D'agua. Surrounding the property are many white-washed villas, but the property has an elevated position providing secluded gardens and lovely sea views.
Olhos D'Agua means the 'eyes of the water' named after the fresh water springs that bubble up beneath the water (can be seen amongst the rocks at low tide). This fishing village has become a popular holiday location but is not over crowded and still contains much charm and tradition. The main street runs down the hillside to the beach, and along the side streets you'll find many restaurants, often specialising in fresh seafood and fish. The sandy beach is still used by the local fisherman to launch their colourful boats each day but is also well-equipped to provide for the sun-worshippers, with a promenade that was completed in 2000, containing toilets and showers. There are plenty of rock pools and small coves to explore along the edges of the sandy beach. Whilst there is parking near the beach, the one-way system can become jammed in high season and walking may be far less effort.
Many of the surrounding beaches have water sports on offer throughout the summer, and there are plenty of golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding facilities found all around the Algarve. The nearest golf course is Pine Cliffs; a 9-hole course set in a pine wood at the edge of spectacular cliffs, about 3km away.
The centre of Albufeira is just 5km away; a sprawling town with plenty to see and something to suit everyone. During the day you can enjoy the sandy stretches of beach or browse the markets where local handicrafts and fresh goods are sold. In the evening, a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs fill the streets with people and life; locals sit on the terraces of traditional restaurants, the bars fill up with thirsty punters and all kinds of music drift across the air. You can admire the array of white yachts in the newly completed marina in the west. Alternatively, you could stroll around the Old Town and explore the maze of cobbled streets, past white-washed fishermen's houses.
Nearby attractions for those with children include;
. ZooMarine- an ocean theme park set amongst lakes and gardens with exhibitions, shows and rides to entertain the whole family. Has a large range of marine animals from sea lions and dolphins to turtles and exotic birds. About 8km away the other side of Albufeira, in Guia.
. Slide and Splash Waterpark - a huge water park with pools, Jacuzzis, slides and rapids that can keep the whole family amused for a day. There are plenty of grassy areas for relaxing and picnicking and because the grounds are so large, it doesn't get too crowded. There are Slide and Splash parks at Lagoa, 25km away, or at Quarteira, around 15km to the east.
