Approach

Villa Marina is located in the quiet and picturesque Vila Sol golf resort. There is a driveway behind the villa, shaded by flowering shrubs and pine trees. There is parking space on the driveway.

Ground Floor

The front door opens into the airy, open-plan living and dining area. Natural light pours in through the large windows and patio doors, which offer views of the surrounding gardens. In the living area is a comfortable sofa and arm chairs positioned in front of a stone fireplace and TV. The sofa opens out into a bed to sleep an extra person. On the other side of the room is a dining area to seat four. From here a doorway leads into the well-equipped kitchen, with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. A separate corridor leads to the bedrooms. The double bedroom has an en suite bathroom and patio doors leading out to the gardens. The other bedroom is furnished with twin beds, and there is a further separate bathroom.

Outside

From the living area, patio doors lead to the pool terrace. The pool has steps leading into the water, and water seats - submerged seat that allow you to sit down and relax in the sparkling blue water. Surrounding the pool and villa are lush, fragrant gardens, with a fountain trickling peacefully amongst the plants. Flowering trees, shrubs and palms cast dappled shade across the lawn, making it a lovely place for the children to play - or for you to enjoy a good book. The garden also has a built-in barbeque, so you can dine al fresco in the warm evening air. After dinner, you may want to enjoy a romantic nightcap on the villa's roof terrace.

Villa Marina is located within the Vila Sol resort in Vilamoura. Vila Sol is an award-winning golf resort and country club that prides itself on its landscaped beauty, diverse wildlife, abundance of leisure and fitness facilities, kid's club, and arts centre. There is a restaurant within walking distance, with the nearest bar in Quarteira, 2.5km awa,y and the supermarket 2.3km from the villa. The stylish Vilamoura marina and golden Marina Beach are easily accessible just a short drive away.

Vila Sol is a prime location, offering peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, just five minutes drive from the marina and beach. Vila Sol has a beautiful spa with a wide selection of therapy rooms for both men and women. There is also a gym and hydro-therapy pool as well a sauna and Turkish baths. A fitness circuit takes a scenic route through shady pines and almond trees for those who like to jog or walk. Vila Sol is particularly proud of its arts centre, which stages music, theatre, and ballet, and promotes literature and audio-visual arts. And then of course, there's the golf course. Vila Sol is home to fabulous 27-hole golf course which stretches along a wide valley and is divided into three loops with three different levels of difficulty: Prime, Challenge and Prestige.

Vilamoura is an extremely cosmopolitan resort, and one of Europe's major golf destinations. Almost every kind of sport and entertainment are on offer, including six golf courses, sports clubs, horse riding stables, a shooting range, night clubs, a casino and plenty of restaurants and bars. Villa Marina is just 4km from the marina, where most of the restaurants and bars can be found - as well as a wonderful array of flamboyant yachts.

Located between a fragrant pine forest, reclaimed wetlands and sparkling, turquoise seas, Vilamoura has been carefully built to incorporate the natural surroundings. Just 3km from the beach, the area boasts beautiful coastline with unusual red-coloured rock and pine tree covered cliffs. For the avid historians there are a preserved Roman site and a museum providing insights to the area's past; originally a Roman fishing town, the ruins include excavated baths in which the mariners used to bathe.

Nice area. Supermarket nearby with cafe, pub, gym and spa. All within walking distance.
