Ground Floor

This stylish villa is comfortably furnished with a light and airy living area which opens directly to the pool terrace. This pretty room has a dining table with chairs for six and a sofa and chairs set in front of a large window at the other end of the room. There is also a television with some satellite channels and a DVD player. The kitchen has a separate utility room and is well appointed with white fitted units, a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The main double bedroom has a double bed with patio doors to the pool area and a convenient en-suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms have twin beds and share the use of a separate family bathroom with bath and overbath shower, WC and washbasin.

Outside

Patio doors lead from the house to a pleasantly shaded covered terrace which is equipped with an outdoor dining table and chairs. Sun-loungers are available on the sun terrace which surrounds the 7m x 3m swimming pool with integral steps. There is a wall enclosing this area, with the glistening ocean in the background.

Towels and linen are included and there is maid service twice weekly.

Location

Located in the Matagorda area of Puerto del Carmen, this holiday villa is great for a family or for groups of friends wishing to spend lazy days by the sea. The beach is practically on your doorstep although you can simply soak up the sun beside the swimming pool if you are looking for more peace and privacy. There is a pedestrian walkway beyond the garden wall which runs along the sea front all the way to the main resort centre a few kilometres to the west. Puerto del Carmen offers a selection of lively bars, restaurants and shopping facilities along its famous ‘Avenida’. The old town, with its quaint harbour, cobbled streets and tapas bars is laid back and peaceful, in direct contrast to the bustling bars and international restaurants of the more cosmopolitan tourist area. Take a ride in a glass bottomed boat or enjoy a boat excursion around the coast starting from the harbour area. Alternatively, a varied range of water sports and many other activities are available in the resort.
The capital city of Arrecife is not far from Puerto del Carmen and is an interesting place to visit. The city’s San Jose Fortress, now a modern art gallery, overlooks the harbour where you can watch the cruise ships come in to dock at the main port.
Coach, foot and even camel tours can be arranged to see the incredible natural land features of the Timanfaya National Park. Situated in the west of the island, the Timanfaya National Park has 50 square kilometres of barren volcanic landscape, shaped by past volcanic activity on the island. The last eruption on the island took place in 1824 and created vast new craters, entombing whole villages and acres of fertile terrain. At the Islote de Hilario you can see the artificial geysers that spring up from a magma chamber 3km below ground when cold water is poured into a hole. Another intriguing site in this area is a lagoon, known as El Golfo, whose waters seem to glow emerald green.
