The villa is mainly arranged on the first floor, with only the master bedroom and en-suite upstairs and a gallery overlooking the main living area.

Ground Floor

As you enter the villa, the spacious, inviting living area is on your left and the kitchen and bedrooms are on the right. There is a comfortable sitting area with two sofas and an armchair, facing around a central coffee table. A large rug softens the tiled floor and there are pretty curtains at the windows. Behind this is a dining area with a wooden table and chairs to seat six.

A door way leads through to the kitchen which is well-equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine, and has doors opening out on to the green gardens. There is also a guest cloakroom with a WC and washbasin. A separate corridor brings you to the three bedrooms; two are furnished with twin beds and have the use of a separate shower room with a free-standing shower. Whilst the other bedroom has a double bed, en-suite bathroom and doors leading out to the pool and garden, allowing in the warm breeze and the sound of cicada song.

First Floor

Immediately on the left, behind the living area is the open staircase leading up to the first floor, on which you will find the master double bedroom. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and doors out on to a private roof terrace overlooking the pool, a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. There is also a small gallery landing which overlooks the main living area, and floods more light into it.

Outside

The villa has its own private swimming pool, which is well secluded in the garden that surrounds the villa. There is a poolside shower, ideal for washing off the sand when you return from the beach. There is a small lawn and mature trees and shrubs which screen the garden from passers-by. The villa exterior is traditionally rendered and painted in a pale yellow; it has a red tiled roof and there are decorative white bars to protect the glass windows and doors.

Location

The private seclusion of the pool and garden at Villa Moriana and its location on the small, peaceful Quinta Jacinta would suit those families looking to enjoy the sea and sand of Portugal's beaches and then return to a comfortable home-away-from-home.

The golden, sandy beaches of the Algarve are 2km down the main road and are popular with local surfers and the families holidaying in Vale do Lobo. As well as golf, horse-riding and tennis, there are plenty of water sports on offer along this section of the Atlantic coast.

There are many golf courses nearby; the nearest being Quinta do Lago South (used for the Portuguese open) and Quinta do Lago North, both approximately 3km away. As well as the Royal and Ocean courses of Vale do Lobo, about 2.5km from the property.

The nearest restaurant is 500m away and many shops, restaurants and cafes can be found down by the beaches. There are plenty situated on the Praca (or promenade) that leads along the sea-front at Vale do Lobo beach, where you can dine al fresco on their terraces.

Nearby attractions include the ‘Aqua Show’ water park, a 15 minute drive from Vale do Lobo and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park in Albufeira, about 30km away. The nearby fishing village of Quarteira has a market on Wednesdays, or you can visit the inland town of Loulé, 20 minutes away by car, which has a craft market every Saturday.
