Ground Floor

The bedrooms are all situated on the ground floor of the villa and are each furnished with twin beds. Also on this floor are the two family bathrooms, and there is access to a furnished terrace and garden area.

First Floor

Upstairs, there is a spacious, simply furnished living area with satellite TV, corner fireplace and patio doors to a sunny first floor terrace overlooking the Atlantic. This is a great place for your breakfast or morning coffee, prepared in the adjacent galley-style kitchen. The kitchen has white fitted units and various appliances including a microwave, oven and hob, and there is a sunny dining area with seating for six. Please note that the washing machine is for use by the maid during maid service.

Outside

The house is set in large, well-established gardens creating a peaceful and private place to relax in on your Algarve holiday. Pretty bougainvillea clings to the white-washed walls of the villa and the garden is brimming with mature trees and shrubs. There is a furnished patio adjacent to the villa, and the lawn stretches away to the kidney-shaped pool and sun terrace at the far end. Backed by hedges and a low wall, the terrace around the pool is a sheltered sun-trap and ideal for those who love to tan. Alternatively there are plenty of shaded areas if you want a cooler place to relax. Close to the pool is a patio with a built-in barbecue.

Luz Parque is a small, well-regarded residential area around 2km from the picturesque coastal village of Praia da Luz. The beach here is extremely popular with families due to its fine white sand which slopes gently into warm turquoise water. There are also scenic walks along the colourful sandstone cliffs.

Villa Orla has an elevated position within Luz Parque, enjoying sea views. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance of the villa, whilst there is a wider choice of shops, bars, and restaurants in Luz itself. There is also a post office, taxi service and cinema.
For lively evening entertainment head to the historic Portuguese town of Lagos to dine at one of the waterfront restaurants by the marina, dance the night away at a disco or watch the street entertainers as you sip a glass of chilled wine in the Praca Republica.

Children will enjoy a day trip to nearby Lagos Zoo, which is set in lovely landscaped gardens with exotic animals and plants. The Slide and Splash water park located just off the N125 near Lagoa is also very popular with families and young people. Other activities available in the surrounding area include horse-riding, walking or mountain biking in the beautiful Monchique hills, tennis and even microlighting. Golfers have a large choice of courses in the Algarve, the nearest to the villa being Boa Vista at Luz. There are tennis courts only 300m from the villa.
