Location
Villa Paula is set a few hundred metres from the coast in a quiet residential area at Sa Rapita, a South East Mallorcan seaside village where you can find a selection of bars and shops within walking distance. This beautiful yellow-painted holiday villa has a private pool but if you wish to venture out into the countryside, there are plenty of other activities on offer. The nearest golf course is the 36 hole Son Antem course near Llucmajor. Villas Isabela, Karena and Valerie are close by, making this location ideal for large groups or several families wishing to holiday together but whilst maintaining some privacy.
Within a few minutes’ drive of the villa is Es Trec, a stunning 4km long strip of white sand running from Ses Covetes at one end to the old fishing and agricultural colony of Sant Jordi at the other. The beach here is perfect for lazy days by the sea, but you will also find protected dunes that are home to an enormous number of sea birds. From Sant Jordi, you can take a boat trip to the tiny rocky island of Cabrera. This island, measuring only 4 miles by 3 miles and translated literally as ‘goat island’, is a designated National Park with no commercial development whatsoever, making it a wonderful retreat for nature lovers. The harbour at Sant Jordi has a number of restaurants and bars where you can find refreshment on your return.
Approximately 12km inland is the quiet town of Campos de Puerto. Here you can sample a cake from its famous patisserie or browse around the farmers’ market and choose some local meats and vegetables to cook on the barbecue later. A little further north, the town of Felanitx is well known for its capers, ceramics and locally produced wine and has a 13th century church in its pretty town square.

Approach
Set within a small group of villas in the village of Sa Rapita and just a few hundred metres from the sea, Villa Paula is entered through double gates set in a stone wall at the front. A ramp takes you up to the front door which has an open porch area.
Ground Floor
The bright and spacious open plan living/dining area has terracotta flooring and patio doors to a delightful covered terrace with views through large pillared archways to the pool. The living area has two comfortable sofas, a television with satellite channels and a DVD player and there is also a CD player. At the other end of the room you will find a large oval dining table sitting conveniently under a hatch opening to the kitchen. The kitchen itself is modern and well equipped including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a double bedroom on this floor, which is airy and uncluttered with a tiled floor and wooden furniture. There is a separate shower room on this level which also has a wc and washbasin
First Floor
There are three double bedrooms on this floor, one having a double bed and an en suite bathroom and the other two having twin beds. Two bedrooms open directly onto a large sunny balcony overlooking the pool. There is a further separate bathroom.
Ground Floor
The private grounds of Villa Paula are set behind a low wall to the front and are screened by mature hedging and flowering shrubs. The attractive sun terracing is set with container plants and has plenty of sun-loungers and umbrellas so you can relax in comfort. The living area opens directly onto a cool and shady dining terrace from where you can walk through large archways and step down to the beautiful Roman-ended swimming pool. Or you can listen to the fun and splashing in the pool from the privacy of the first floor balcony.
