The villa has accommodation spread over two floors, with the main living room on the ground floor. There are terraces on different levels at the rear of the property.

Ground Floor

The interior of the villa is furnished in a contemporary style. The comfortable living area has three black leather sofas arranged around a modern coffee table and bright fluffy rug There is a television with some satellite channels and also a DVD player for your entertainment. Behind the sofas is a traditional woodburning stove and an open staircase with brass hand rails. There are glass shelves in an alcove and the white walls are adorned with pieces of modern art creating bold splashes of colour. Wide French windows at the far end of the room give access to the pool terrace.

The chic dining room has doors to the garden and a formal dining table, inset with glass, and leather upholstered seating for eight. Separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar with stools, the kitchen is ultra modern and has granite worktops and floor to ceiling cupboards. It is well-equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer and has a further glazed door to the pool terrace.

There is one ground floor bedroom which has a double bed and the use of a separate bathroom.

First Floor

There are two airy and uncluttered bedrooms upstairs. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms with a bath and overbath shower, WC and washbasin. Air-conditioning is available if required for an extra charge.

Outside

The villa has a fabulous pool terrace with far-reaching views of the surrounding area over the railings that border the terrace. The pool itself is a rectangular shape and has ladder steps. There is a step up to the raised pergola covered dining terrace which has a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Location

Villa Penny is situated in the Terracos do Pinhal residential area, a short drive from the centre of Vilamoura. An ideal choice for a golf villa holiday in the sun, the villa has three courses within walking distance and enjoys far-reaching views from its elevated position. There are local amenities within walking distance with Vilamoura’s chic marina and beach around 3.5km away.

Vilamoura is a well known and favourite European golfing destination and there are six world class golf courses in the resort, all of which are within easy reach. The resort also offers other outstanding sport and entertainment facilities. These include tennis, horse riding, water sports, and even clay pigeon shooting. Nightlife centres around the huge lively marina, which forms the focal point of the resort. There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants here not to mention the cinema and the casino. Plenty of other sporting and leisure facilities are on offer here, including an aqua park, horse riding stables, water sports and a shooting range. The resort centre has a huge range of night clubs, a casino and some excellent bars and restaurants.

Vilamoura means, literally ‘Moorish Town’. Today, its most popular attractions are the stylish marina and two sandy beaches, Marina and Falesia. The beaches have fine white sand, restaurants, bars and toilet/shower facilities so you can spend all day relaxing beside the sea in comfort. Windsurfing board hire and water ski-ing are available during the main summer months and lessons can be booked if necessary. If you enjoy boat trips, try an excursion from the marina or visit the Algarve’s Big Game Fishing Centre.

The resort also has an excellent selection of designer boutiques, shoe stores, sports outlets, perfumeries and jewelers. At nearby Loule, you can visit the Saturday market and browse the colourful stalls selling fresh local produce and traditional handicrafts. A little further afield at Guia near Albufeira, you will find the huge Algarve Shopping centre which has over one hundred shops selling a wide range of luxury goods and clothes. Algarve Shopping also has a hypermarket, bowling alley and a multi screen cinema screening films in English with subtitles.

The capital city of the Algarve, Faro, is a short drive away and has a maze of pedestrianised streets and interesting historical buildings.
