Villa Ramona is a single storey villa where the living and sleeping accommodation are all on the same level.

Ground Floor

The light and airy living accommodation of Villa Ramona has large windows which allow the light to flood in, and patio doors out onto the terrace. The room is kept cool by tiled floors and pale walls, and there is comfortable seating for your party; along with a televisions that has satellite channels, a video and a CD player. This split level room has an upper area where the large rectangular dining table can be found, with seating for six people. The table is conveniently located next to the kitchen which has a large serving hatch and comes equipped with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The property has three bedrooms. The master has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom which includes a bath and shower. The second bedroom has a small double bed, and the third bedroom has twin beds. These two bedrooms share the separate shower room.

Outside

The villa has split level terracing and the pool area is kept private by the surrounding white-washed walls. The pool is rectangular, and measures 7m x 3m x 1.6-2.1m deep, with ladder access and cover. There are enough sun-loungers and parasols for your party and the villa is furnished with outdoor dining equipment, including a built-in barbecue area with sink.

Puerto Calero is an exclusive resort only 3km away from Lanzarote’s main resort of Puerto del Carmen. Villa Ramona is situated only 100m from the fabulous marina, which is lined with good quality restaurants, high-class shops and bars. Puerto Calero is an exclusive development with its own marina, surrounded by bars and restaurants, some boutiques and up-market tourist shops. The marina offers several excursions including catamaran trips and submarine rides. There is also the opportunity to go sports fishing and experience the thrill of landing a Blue-Fin Tuna or perhaps a shark! There are also a couple of diving schools for enthusiasts offering equipment and lessons and beginners and the advanced.

Although there is no beach at Puerto Calero, the lively beach life of Puerto del Carmen is only a few minutes by car. All the beaches in resort have been awarded the Blue Flag and have clean blue seas and gently shelving white sand. There are all the facilities you would expect from an established resort including sun beds and umbrellas, water sports and beach-side bars. The Avenida de las Playas runs along the coastline and is a promenade heaving with hundreds of shops and restaurants, bars and cafes, ice-cream parlours and amusement arcades. International cuisine and fast food is plentiful here if you are looking for something familiar rather than traditional.

Down at the southern end of the resort you find a different pace – the old town has cobbled streets reminding you that this was once a small fishing village, and here is the place to sample some of the good quality freshly caught fish Canaries-style.

Nightlife is diverse so there is sure to be something for everyone, whether you prefer a romantic meal for two overlooking the sea, or a karaoke bar followed by all-night dancing at a club. For the wilder end of the spectrum, Centro Atlantico is the place to head for. If you are in town at the end of July, you will be able to take part in the Fiesta de Carmen – a colourful festival with folklore performances, singing and all night celebrating.
