The villa has a peaceful and tranquil setting just outside the centre of Vilamoura. The nearest beach is Falesia, around 3km from the villa and Vilamoura’s chic marina is 2.5km away. There is a restaurant within walking distance. For sporting enthusiasts, there are tennis courts and the 18-hole Pinhal golf course 1km from the villa, with a further five courses close by.

Vilamoura is a large and cosmopolitan resort surrounded by natural wetland areas and scenic pine forests. It has a huge range of leisure facilities to keep you busy on your Algarve holiday including its own water park, some riding stables, a shooting range and even a casino. The resort’s main beaches are situated either side of the marina, with Falesia to the west and Marina to the east. Both beaches have fine white sand and good facilities with plenty of beachside bars and restaurants. The beach is popular with windsurfers and water skiers and you can book lessons and equipment hire if necessary. A number a boat excursions depart from the marina and the Algarve’s Big Game Fishing Centre offers exciting fishing trips in search of shark, marlin and swordfish to name but a few. There are lots of restaurants, bars and nightclubs providing evening entertainment, with some excellent waterfront restaurants around the marina. A mini land train is a convenient way to move around the resort.

If you are looking for some retail therapy, the resort also has an excellent selection of designer boutiques, shoe stores, sports outlets, perfumeries and jewelers. At nearby Loule, you can visit the Saturday market and browse the colourful stalls selling fresh local produce and traditional handicrafts. A little further afield at Guia near Albufeira, you will find the huge Algarve Shopping centre which has over one hundred shops selling a wide range of luxury goods and clothes. Algarve Shopping also has a hypermarket, bowling alley and a multi screen cinema screening films in English with subtitles.

Approach

Villa Rosalie is a charming low rise villa which has recently been completely refurbished.. The villa is furnished and decorated in an uncluttered and contemporary style to provide comfortable accommodation for up to six people

Ground Floor

The villa has an open plan living and dining area which is well furnished and has an attractive corner fireplace. There are comfortable sofas arranged around a coffee table, and a television with some satellite channels, a DVD player and a CD player. The dining area is softly lit by ceiling downlighters and has a blond wood table with six chairs upholstered in leather. Two table lamps stand at either end of the sideboard and the room’s pale walls are brightened with pieces of contemporary art.

There is a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is housed in a separate utility room.

The villa has three bright and comfortable bedrooms which are also furnished in a contemporary style and have air-conditioning available for an extra charge if required. There are two smart new bathrooms, one having a corner shower, WC and washbasin and the other having a bath with an overhead shower.

Outside

The villa has a small but pretty garden which has raised flower beds planted with shrubs and ornamental trees. There is a pleasant sun terrace around the swimming pool and a large roof terrace which is ideal for sunbathing. On the far side of the pool there are steps leading up to a covered dining area and a useful barbecue kitchen which is equipped with a sink, fridge and a built-in barbecue grill. There is a small pergola terrace to one side of the house and tall pine trees at the edge of the garden provide some welcome natural shade.
