The villa is arranged on two floors with three twin bedrooms downstairs and a master double bedroom upstairs.

Approach

Villa Rosie is an attractive detached villa located on a pleasant residential estate, near to the quaint village of Guia. The villa has a driveway with parking space at the front of the house.

Ground Floor

The front door opens to an entrance hall, which leads into the open-plan living and dining room. On the left is the comfortable living area, with sofas arranged around a cosy wood-burning stove, TV and DVD. From here, patio doors lead out to the pool terrace. Beyond the living area is the dining area, with a solid wooden dining table to seat eight. The dining room leads into the neat wooden kitchen with polished granite worktops. Fully equipped and compact, the kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

From the living area, a lobby leads to a full bathroom and two of the bedrooms. The bedroom on the left has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the pool terrace – perfect for those who enjoy a quiet swim before breakfast. The bedroom on the right has wrought iron twin beds and fitted wardrobes. The third twin bedroom is located off the entrance hall. Separate shower room.

First Floor

Upstairs is the comfortable and spacious master bedroom. Furnished with a double bed, twin nightstands and soft lighting, it has an en suite bathroom with a luxurious hydro-massage corner bath. French windows lead out onto a spacious roof terrace – the perfect place to sip your morning coffee in complete privacy.

Outside

Patio doors lead out to a furnished covered terrace for leisurely al fresco dining. On the other side of the pool you will find a stone barbeque - perfect for family meals cooked fresh on the sizzling grill.

Beyond the dining terrace is the spacious pool terrace. There are plenty of sunloungers and parasols provided so that you can laze beside the pool in comfort. Steps lead into the shallow end for easy access, and there is a separate shallow area for young children to splash around in safely. Surrounding the pool are neat grassy areas and verdant hedges for privacy.

Location

Casa Rosie is located on a peaceful residential estate near Guia, just 5km west of Albufeira. Guia offers all the necessary amenities, and there are shops and restaurants 1km from the villa. There is choice of nearby beaches, the closest being Galé Beach, 5km away.

Guia is a pleasant village offering a selection of popular restaurants. It is also home to the popular ZooMarine ocean theme park; set amongst lakes and gardens this park offers a variety of live shows, rides and exhibitions to entertain the whole family. It features a huge range of marine animals from sea lions to turtles and exotic birds. (For a large fee – around £80 – you can also experience the magic of swimming with dolphins but make sure you pre-book). In Guia, you will also find ‘Algarve Shopping’ - a new mall with a large selection of well-known shops and brands, fast food outlets, cinema screens (English language films) and a ten-pin bowling alley.

Albufeira, 3km away is a sprawling town with plenty to see and something to suit everyone. During the day you can enjoy the sandy stretches of beach or browse the markets where local handicrafts and fresh goods are sold. In the evening, a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs fill the streets with people and life; locals sit on the terraces of traditional restaurants, the bars fill up with thirsty punters, and all kinds of music drift across the air. You can also stroll around the newly completed marina in the west and admire the dazzling array of white yachts. Alternatively, you could wander around the Old Town and explore the maze of cobbled streets, past white-washed fishermen’s houses.

Many of the beaches have water sports on offer throughout the summer, and there are plenty of golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding facilities found all around the Algarve. The nearest golf course is Salgados, set back from the Gale beach with 18-holes and lots of water hazards.

One of Albufeira’s nicest beaches; Praia dos Pescadores or ‘fishermens’ beach is so named because of the little colourful fishing boats that line the shore here. This sandy beach has only a few steps down to the sand and plenty of parking; it also has a small pier and a beachside café. Leading down to the beach is ‘The Street of bars’ where there is plenty of nightlife to be had.

Nearby attractions for those with children include.
• Slide and Splash – a huge water park with pools, Jacuzzis, slides and rapids that can keep the whole family amused for a day. There are plenty of grassy areas for relaxing and picnicking and because the grounds are so large, it doesn’t get too crowded. Located north of the town on the N125, approx 25km away.
