Ground Floor

The spacious open plan living/dining room is tastefully decorated with wooden flooring, full length cream curtains and pale walls. Cream sofas are set around a coffee table, with films, news and radio channels available on the satellite television. An oval wooden dining table has seating for six in the main part of the room and there is an open arched doorway through to the kitchen. Fitted with smart light coloured units, the kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, with a window overlooking part of the garden. There is a round breakfast table and chairs in the centre of the room, with a ceiling fan to keep you cool whilst you cook.

The villa’s three bedrooms are all elegantly furnished and have wood floors and good quality furniture, the master bedroom having a double bed and luxurious en suite bathroom with a corner bath, shower, WC and a washbasin vanity unit. There are two further twin rooms and a further separate shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.

Outside

Surrounding the villa are areas of covered and open air terracing, including a balconied area with ornamental steps leading down to the pool and garden. The villa has a 9m x 5m swimming pool which looks stunning when lights are switched on around the covered terrace after dark. There are ample recliners and chairs for relaxing beside the pool and outdoor dining furniture and a barbecue are provided for al fresco meals.

Villa Vista is quietly situated in the exclusive residential area of Los Mojones, above the beaches and town centre of Puerto del Carmen. Set in lovely gardens with a large private swimming pool, this family villa offers you peace and privacy whilst having all the fun and entertainment of Puerto del Carmen on your doorstep. The quaint old town is around a ten minute to fifteen minute walk downhill from the villa and has a picturesque harbour where you can watch the fishermen bring in their catch or dine in one of the fish restaurants overlooking the sea. The atmosphere in the old town is laid back and friendly, with traditional tapas bars lining the cobbled streets.

Puerto del Carmen is a long narrow resort stretching for 4km along the main coastal road not far from Arrecife, the island’s capital. It has an excellent beach that shelves gently to the sea and is popular with families and water sports enthusiasts, activities on offer including parascending and scuba-diving. Windsurfing is particularly popular on this stretch of the Atlantic coast. The main ‘Avenida’ is a short drive from the villa or can be reached on foot in about twenty minutes although it is an uphill climb on the way back! By day you can stroll amongst the souvenir shops, amusements and coffee bars, whilst at night, the place really comes to life with restaurants brimming with diners and the nightclubs and bars playing music until the early hours. There is a golf course and water park at Costa Teguise, around 25 minutes away by car.

Shopping is excellent in and around the resort, and international chains such as Zara and Mango can be found here, offering good prices because the goods are tax-free. The souvenir shops tend to be on the promenade, but the Biosfera shopping centre offers a more upmarket selection including duty-free electronics, local arts and crafts and luxury designer clothes and shoes.
Also nearby is the incredible National Park of Timanfya, a 50km square area whose landscape has been shaped by past volcanic activity on the island, the most recent eruption being nearly two centuries ago. Various tours are offered in the park, including a camel ride if you are feeling adventurous, and you can enjoy a meal cooked over natural geothermal heat at the El Diablo restaurant.
