Location

This villa is located on a corner plot of the quiet, development of Vale St Antonio, on the outskirts of the popular Vale do Lobo resort. With views over the golf course, and private gardens and pool, this is an ideal villa for those wanting a sun-filled holiday near the sea with easy access to the beach and leisure facilities, as well as a peaceful home-away-from home to relax in.

The dune-backed golden, stretch of sand that borders the Atlantic Ocean along this section of the Algarve, is popular with local surfers and the families holidaying in Vale do Lobo. As well as golf, horse-riding and tennis, there are plenty of water sports on offer along this section of the Atlantic coast.

There are many golf courses nearby; the nearest being the Royal and Ocean courses on the Vale do Lobo development, approximately 2km from the villa. Alternatively, Quinta do Lago South (the course used for the Portuguese open) and Quinta do Lago North are approximately 4.5km away.

Vale St Antonio has a supermarket and restaurant, and there are plenty more on the neighbouring resort of Vale do Lobo. Cafes and restaurants line the sophisticated sea-front Pra�a (or promenade) along Vale do Lobo beach; where you can dine al fresco on the terraces and watch the world go by.

Nearby attractions include the 'Aqua Show' water park, a 15 minute drive from Vale do Lobo and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park in Albufeira, approximately 25km away. The inland town of Loul�, 20 minutes away by car, has a craft market every Saturday where the traditional, local craftsmen display their wares.

In Detail

Ground Floor

The large living space has been well laid out with a glass table and chairs forming a dining area to the right, nearest the kitchen. Several large sofas, a feature brick-surround fireplace and a large rug make a cosy lounge area to the left. This living area has two sets of large patio doors that open out on to the covered portion of the terrace and look across the blue water of the pool. To the right of the property, behind the dining area is the well-equipped, contemporary fitted kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

The bedrooms are all furnished with wooden-framed beds and bright pastel fabrics, which add a hint or warmth and colour to the otherwise cool, calm spaces. On the ground floor, behind the living area are two twin bedrooms. Both are similarly furnished with twin beds and have doors that open out on to the terrace and garden allowing the warm breeze and natural sunlight in. There is a full family bathroom that serves these two bedrooms.

First Floor

A slightly curving staircase takes you to the upper floor and the master double bedroom which has a set of patio doors out onto a roof terrace with lovely views across the golf course and surrounding area. This is a good spot to sit with your first cup of tea in the morning. Opposite the master bedroom is a large bathroom with full bath.

Outside

This villa is set close to the Royal golf course and the mature garden backs onto this. There is a large sun terrace in front of the house, which has a covered portion immediately outside the living area, ideal for al fresco dining. The terrace also houses the kidney-shaped private pool, and a built-in barbecue. The garden has a lush, green lawn to the left of the pool and covered parking at the front. The property is bordered by mature shrubs, hedges and trees giving a feeling of privacy and providing some shade, although there is plenty of sun to be had from one of the many sun-loungers that live on the terrace.
