This family holiday villa is all on one level. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are open plan. It has a sauna suitable for up to 4 people. The villa is also wheelchair friendly with extra wide doors and easy access.

Ground Floor

This holiday family villa has been designed in an open plan area and is laid out over one level with air conditioning throughout. The interior of the living area is painted a cool cream with pale coloured, comfortable sofas grouped together in a corner of the lounge offering a view through the patio doors of the pool and terrace. Soft yellow voile curtains blow gently in the breeze from the open patio doors. A feature of this room is a fireplace and adjacent to this are the TV, DVD players and CD / radio cassette player.

BEDROOMS - The interior décor of the bedrooms differs from room to room with. Brightly coloured bed covers and floor length curtains are off set by pale toning walls and cool, tiled floors. Linen and towels are provided. The master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large corner Jacuzzi bath. Patio doors open on to a generous balcony, a nice place to relax and unwind with a glass of wine as the evening opens up before you. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom, with a separate shower room, that has patio doors leading on to a balcony. The owners of the villa have thoughtfully provided hairdryers for our clients.

Outside

The pool (with integral steps) adjoining the front of the villa, is on an elevated terrace with the surrounds set to lawn and shrubs. You will enjoy lounging by your private pool or having a barbeque looking out on to the splendid Cretan countryside. You might even see the occasional goatherd passing by.

Location

Skaleta, considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete is only 1km away and within walking distance. Close to the beach you will find a mini-market, a delightful taverna and various arts and crafts shops.

Rethymnon is 15km distant, a 15-20 minute drive by car. This lively, ancient city with lovely, long sandy beaches has an ancient history. There is architectural evidence of earlier occupation by the Venetians and the Turks. If you enjoy a walk, make your way to the old Venetian fortress set above the town and enjoy the views to be had from its ancient walls. You might like to explore the winding alleyways in the old harbour area. Browse in local boutiques or spend time over a lazy lunch in a taverna overlooking the harbour.
